I don't remember if'n I told you about my good friend, Ken.... retired jarhead, NamVet, a real hero... all around great guy... like a father to me...
he was living in his dream house on the Gulf in Gulfport... we hadn't heard from him since Katrina, and we were terribly worried...
we heard from him today... heres what's left of his beautiful home...
we're glad he's safe, but we can't imagine what he has been thru... I offered our home if'n they need to get away, or make a new start...
I'm rejoicing that he and his wife are safe, but at the same time I am in mourning for his loss...
I'm sure you are familiar with this... prayers fer Ken and Gail are appreciated...

I love animal embarrassment :~DSome TV animal show had a clip of a cat sleeping on top of a TV set, an arm and leg draped over the edge. He twitched in his sleep, and fell off. You didn't see his reaction when he hit the floor, but you could guess. :)

Evening - Enjoyable movie, not many folks there, mostly an 'older' crowd. Mantinee prices may help that. Some pretty interesting CG scenes. Agree the little boy was a cool kid.
