Unless you're quibbling over carbs, there's *no* excuse not to. :) Bon appetite!
Pardon my french.
Mornin'!
My mind keeps wanting to associate these characters with the ones in LOTR. Alagaesia could be another Middle Earth or maybe even it's neighbor across the sea. :-D
Well I figured I'd have one...or two. Heck, maybe three today and save the rest for the week.
I want sausage biscuits.
Well, we're back and almost made it back before the drizzle, not really raining. Sippin on a big orange juice and waiting for the pumpkin spice coffee to brew. hmmm. Glad we went to the archery range yesstiday.
Well, it's gotta lovely whistle in it!
It very loosely parallels LOTR...very loosely. The message isn't the same and it's a great spoof on some of the funnier points of PJ's movie. My favorite part is the maggoty bread and three stinkin' days!
There's "Ents", elves, "orcs", but no Sam, Merry or Pippin...there's a "Saruman" but no Sauron. It's really pretty funny a lot of times but with a good message. The "Silly Songs with Elves" is completely nutty with an Arwen type in it...
It's visually pretty cool...looks a lot like LOTR in cartoon form.
At the end, Larry actually said "We hope we didn't offend anyone"...and smiles...reminding you it's all just a joke, not meant to offend or be taken seriously.
I love animal embarrassment :~D
Especially wild animals. We saw a heron stand on the dock at the beach house, and he was reaching down down down down at something in the water, and then he fell in. Herons are waders, they can't swim. So here was this enormous gangly bird, flapping like crazy, which managed to work, he flew out of it. But that was really clumsy!
But my favorite animal embarrassment was when Logan's eyes were failing, and he went barking across the yard all hackled up at what turned out to be the ~wheel barrow~. He got there, saw that it was a wheelbarrow, looked back to see if I was watching, and then continued on in another direction growling and barking like "he really was looking at something else". LOL
Heh....the sun is out, now.
Hawk's sitting on my fence again.
It was on the top of the telephone pole in the back yard this morning making a loud cry over and over...the girls were most upset.
...now it's raining...
and I got a steak for the grill....
I think that hawk wants a chicken breakfast.
Thanks for the review :-) Glad your guys had fun.
Well, the coop was actually made big enough for two chickens to spend their whole life in it...three is a bit tight, but they get along. So they're in the coop and safe. It's dreary out or I'd go out with them and let them out.
So Hawk can't get 'em...
It's cool having it around...wonder how long it will hang around? Maybe it'll give up on the chickens and go away.
Either way is ok, but it is cool having it around.
You could always let Puffy out.
Heh heh heh heh heeeehhhh!
Heh, I think it will be a hide-go-seek day with Yellowface today. We're taking LF's movie review to heart and heading out the moving picture show. Haven't been in a while, I think Master and Commander was the last one. :-)
Poor Puffy!
It's a brilliant plan, though...
I'm making Joshua's "Super Moist" cake...just now getting around to it! ~cringe~ Haven't officially sang happy birthday to him yet 'cause of it.
It'll be a chocolate frosted yellow cake. Layer cake. So it'll be a bit fancier than just a plain old sheet cake.
Steve is at the second day of pollution collection event.
You will note, if you haven't already, I am NOT complaining about him being gone. It doesn't even bother me. But then again, he's been waiting for the past two weeks to hear back from the committee and so he's been home every evening instead of constantly gone.
Amazing what a difference it makes in my attitude toward the pollution collection event!
Hah! You're gonna be wanting him to get his doctorate just so you can have evenings with us!
