New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red, |

Still round the corner there may wait |

Home is behind, the world ahead, |

What was I supposed to be lookin' at? Scruffy dude? No thanks.
Ack, NaNo time, I'm not ready.
You don't like Scruffy Lookin? How about nerf herders?
;-D
Well I'm not sure how you herd nerf... nerf throwers, I get, but herders?
Did the pictures suffice?
Scruffy is yummy.
Mmm...scruffy lookin' nerf herders...
Them scruffy-lookin' nerf herders way down south...
Maybe someone could ship me one.
Good afternoon, by the way!
It's overcast and cold here. I'm having hot chocolate...right sorta weather for it! Made it with Splenda. It isn't bad.
It's the same here...cool and dreary...
I suppose so. I always use butter.
We may get snow tonight.
Of course, they've said that before. I imagine it'll just be very damp and frosty, and the foothills will get more snow.
I can't wait to dig out my snowshoes! Then again, it'd be nice to hike again a few times before winter hits, so either way is good!
We hates snow, Precious. It freezeses us!
I've substituted lard for Crisco in biscuits, too, and that's almost like bacon grease.
I bet it'd taste great!
Wish I could have a couple...
But it's fun to play in!
Wintry mix, on the other hand... *shudder*
One nice thing about here is that I gather they don't really get "sticking" snow down at this level - it snows, but doesn't last - but we can always drive up a couple thousand feet if we wanna play in the snow.
Back home, if there's a bad winter, there's nowhere to snowshoe. Last winter we really only had a few months of decent weather for it.
Granted, there we could walk out the front door and head out into the woods. I'm gonna miss that. *sniff*
Don't like cold feetses!
Cold feet are bad. Wet feet are bad too.
Cold wet feet are the worst!
Finally broke down and bought some snow boots...I have been using my safety shoes which do a good job of keeping the wet out, but they don't have much warming capability.
