Don't feel bad.The "dates", I have been on, were all with girls, who were just ACTING like they liked me, for some selfish reason.

SO-- you are better off, not having gone on "phony" dates, with "phony" girlfriends. It REALLY hurts, after you realize how they do NOT care about you, in the end!!!

SO, me, you and Pcottraux, are pretty much, the same!!Only I am a LOT older (14years+) than either of you, and most likely, have been hurt more times.

There are bad apples in every barrel! I should tell you about some of the dates I have been on since my husband died. These guys all wanted something from me. They did not want to get to know me or talk about common interests. One wanted money, the rest wanted something else. None of them wanted me!

So, you see, guys are not the only ones who have dismal romantic lives at one time or the other.
