Welcome!!!

"We're so glad to see so many of you lovely people here tonight...

...We would especially like to welcome all the representatives of Illinois' law enforcement community who have chosen to join us here at the Place Hotel Ballroom at this time. We certainly hope you all enjoy the show and remember people that no matter who you are and what you do to live, thrive and survive, there's still some things that make us all the same...

...You, me, them, everybody..."

"…You know people, when you do find that special somebody, you gotta hold that man, hold that woman, love him, please him, squeeze her, please her, signify your feelings with every gentle caress…because it’s so important to have that special somebody to hold, to kiss, to miss, to squeeze, and please…"

my Dad has prostate cancer and I guess his doctor told him that cancer feeds on sugar - try stevia. He gets stevia from a health food store and I have tasted it in tea, not bad, better than nutrasweet, and only need a tiny amount

I wasn't online much last night - or tonight either. I've had a lot to do lately.

"funny, when I see all of Walt's tax journals, etc, I now think of you"

LOL! I'm the tax lady. ;-)

Has had it for about 4 1/2 years. He refuses all the normal treatments, doesn't like the potential side effects. Doing okay I guess, but he is 70 and also has a bad heart, shoulder, ankle, literally seems like he is falling apart. I worry about loosing him too. My son is so close to his PopPop we see my parents once a week and since Eric's Daddy is dead, my Dad is the main male influence in his life.

Thanks for telling us about your experience with stevia.

Hope your dad recovers. Cancer isn't the death sentence it was even five years ago.

It's funny, would you believe I thought today, oh, who is on 2nd extension for their tax return that we have to get out tomorrow? I mean, why in the world would I still care about that. Guess its so ingrained in my mind, these stupid IRS dates, even though the last year Walt did taxes was for TY 2000.

thank you, i hope so too. I don't think he will ever get over it, but the doctors are hoping it will stay contained. They say if it does not spread to the bones, then he has a likely chance of living another 10 years or so (although that was the prognosis when he was first diagnosed almost 5 years ago)... still, I am worried about him.

For years I've wanted to see bigfoot, an UFO, or a ghost. So far, I've been unsuccessful.

Until I actually see one, I'm not sure I believe in them.

In the late 1800's people who hadn't seen giraffes didn't believe they existed. They couldn't believe the description of these animals as described by travelers who returned from Africa.
