"We're so glad to see so many of you lovely people here tonight...
...We would especially like to welcome all the representatives of Illinois' law enforcement community who have chosen to join us here at the Place Hotel Ballroom at this time. We certainly hope you all enjoy the show and remember people that no matter who you are and what you do to live, thrive and survive, there's still some things that make us all the same...
...You, me, them, everybody..."
" You know people, when you do find that special somebody, you gotta hold that man, hold that woman, love him, please him, squeeze her, please her, signify your feelings with every gentle caress because its so important to have that special somebody to hold, to kiss, to miss, to squeeze, and please "
Due to being very shy and even introverted, I am not up to the latest slang either.
Well I have gotten strange looks by simply introducing myself. As a result it scares the heck out of me to do so.
Maybe it's just me, but I've sensed that girls tend to be highly defensive nowadays. Some of them are so convinced that every guy in the world is after them, and a potential stalker, that they actively fight any attempt at getting too close to guys.
Or, like I said, maybe it's just me.
Ha ha, none of that.
I am sorry to hear that. Being warm and faithul is about all I have going for me too.
Well, if she is going out with you, she must like you. No girl goes out with a guy she doesn't have some interest in.
I went through a heartbreak that lasted from ages 15-17. It ended 4 years ago. I've only recently finally gotten over it.
It didn't help that another one happened last year.
Well, boys, I don't usually get ANY looks, so even a strange one would be kind of nice. LOL!
LOL I would not worry about that.
I fear that is the feeling I get to. It is a especially hard in a big city like I live in.
Okay. Say something strange, and I'm all over looking at you.
I had a good friend who went through the same thing 2 years ago. His wife "shut down" as far as the family was concerned. She could give him no reason but wouldn't do a thing around the house, talk to him, etc. All she wanted to do was go play bingo, games on the computer, or go to the bar. He filed for divorce and for custody of the kids. Lost the kids and she still hasn't signed the divorce papers (but expects him to pay alimony). She is mentally ill. Your relation needs to get a very good lawyer and start documenting EVERYTHING she is or isn't doing. With 3 children in the household they need to be the priority.AWB
An(ex) friend told me, the reason it happens to me is"I am too nice, and an easy target". He should know, as he has used and hurt me more than nearly anyone, since I knew him, for over 21 years
Needless to say, we don't talk to each other much, anymore.
If she is not doing those things and used to do them, then maybe she suffers from depression? Is she open to counseling? Is your cousin? If she can't even take care of the children without his having to do the physical work everyday, then why should she be given custody? I would think that he could prove that she is incapable of taking care of them at this time and get custody of them.
Well, then, just say it as you normally would. Females are not to be feared, guys. Remember, there are more of us than there are of you, so you get to have your pick! ;)
Please define "strange look."
Big eyes, horrified expression. A look of, "Oh my God, I'm staring at you in profound disbelief!"
You know, a lot of women of all ages have been hurt by men. Many are gun shy. I know that I am. I don't think I would trust anything a man said to me right now. However, I would be nice to him if he was a nice person. I certainly don't have any trouble talking to men. However, they have to initiate the conversation. I am sure a great many young women are the same way.
