Brian Doak used to have a favorite 3rd grade poem:

Birdie Birdie, in the sky,
Why did you poop into my eye?
Aren't you glad cows don't fly!

"Whispering or laughing in the house of God"

That was a weekly event for my sister and I. See, the only reason we didnt put up a stink about Mass every Sunday was because there were 2 VERY cute boys that went and sat near us every week. My mother used to get sooo steamed. Sunday night was usually a somber time cause we were grounded for making goo-goo eyes at the boys in church!

Do not come to table improperly dressed.

Do not wear gloves at the table, unless your hands for some special reason are unfit to be seen.

Peacebaby for you this means no hoochie mama shorts to the table ;)

Two nuns were shopping in a food store and happened to be passing the beer and liquor section.

One asks the other if she would like a beer.

The other nun answered that would be good, but that she would be queezy about purchasing it.

The first nun said that she would handle it and picked up a six pack and took it to the cashier.

The cashier had a surprised look and the first nun said, "This is for washing our hair."

The cashier without blinking an eye, reached under the counter and put a package of pretzels in the bag with the beer saying, "Here, don't forget the curlers."

a lady will not be rude
Me? Rude? Erm, let me think about that...

nor dress so as to attract undue attention
If my dress causes attention, it's because I forgot to....

much less to create unpleasant remark
If you don't like the way I dress, SHOP FOR ME!

She will be kind to all
Depends

she will not absorb too much of the walk
My hips are wide, deal with it

she will not allow her skirts to drag upon the walk to the annoyance of other pedestrians
If my skirts are dragging, the elastic has croaked in the waistband

she will not fail to recognize friends by a pleasant smile and slight bow
Smile, sure! Bow, uh....wow?

she will not look back at anyone who has passed her
Speak for yourself, but if it's a Wrangler butt, I'm lookin'!

she will not eye another lady's dress as if studying its very texture
No, but I will make a snarky remark about the "I wish these were brains" print across her chest

she will not stop upon the walk to talk with a friend to the inconvenience of others
OK, I'll try and do better

Hmmmm....this explains a lot.....or does it?

You Are 50% Left Brained, 50% Right Brained
The left side of your brain controls verbal ability, attention to detail, and reasoning. Left brained people are good at communication and persuading others. If you're left brained, you are likely good at math and logic. Your left brain prefers dogs, reading, and quiet. The right side of your brain is all about creativity and flexibility. Daring and intuitive, right brained people see the world in their unique way. If you're right brained, you likely have a talent for creative writing and art. Your right brain prefers day dreaming, philosophy, and sports.
Are You Right or Left Brained?

Friendly Administrator tip of the day:

Is your boss bugging you on the phone about "Blah blah blah" but you're busy trying to troubleshoot something serious?

Install a HTML proxy redirect rule that reroutes all web queries from his workstation to playboy.com.

... shuts 'im right up...
