What a pole smoker.
My grandfather moved from Kalmer County, Sweden, to northern Michigan, well over a century ago. Pride is certainly not one of the emotions felt, when reading this particular article. Maybe Hedon would be a better name for their country.
With all those beautiful women in Sweden, how could there be gays?
"What a pole smoker."
Thought he only did Scandanavians.
That must be a real pain-in-the-ass job!
Ten bucks says Lady Jag will post his pic on the OFST this friday.
Yuk! My family and I just flew on SAS last month. I'm glad my nine-year-old daughter didn't see this issue.
I hear you. My grandparents came from Sweden about 100 years ago; they certainly would not have approved of this. And fortunately, not all Swedes today are that depraved. But the country has become increasingly secularized, and thus de-moralized, over especially the last 40 years. Well, kinda like America. But worse.
If all you see are a few beautiful Swedish models and actresses, you're going to think that all Swedish women are beautiful. They're not. You're just seeing the cream of the crop.
And if, like too many Swedish women, they a) smoke cigarettes and b) expose their fair skin to too much sun, then some who are beautiful at 25, by 45 look a leathery 55.
>>>>>>"I assume that given the legitimacy that you have given porn and gay sex in your recent in flight magazine, Scandinavian Airlines will not have a problem with anyone wanting to play a porn DVD on the laptop while in flight. Is this correct?"
Ping to the Swedish Ping List.
Are you sure this guy is what you say? I don't want people to go off half-cocked--well, let me rephrase that--I don't want people to act precipitously, writing angry letters and so forth, if we've got our facts wrong.
How do you know all this, the magazine is not even out yet?
Well, a little Googling reveals that this guy did work as a sodomite film "star" (under the name "Tag Eriksson") before becoming a real estate broker in NY. So unless he or the magazine denounces that sordid past, but instead condones it, then your moral umbrage is justified.
My grandfathers name was Issacson, but he changed upon arriving because he didn't want to be thought A Swede (don't know why) Oy!!
In Sweden it was probably spelled, "Isaaksson." My grandfather was Karl Henriksson, but when he came through Ellis Island, it got changed to Charles Henrickson, and I am named after him.
BTW, if you want to be notified about any Sweden-related threads here on FR, let me know and I'll put you on our Swedish Ping List. It's a relatively low-volume list.
In addition, after living in Göteborg for 4+ years, I still say "Wow, Wow" about 10 times more often walking here than in Naples, Florida, my second home.
There is certainly something in the jeans here!!!!!
I don't follow happenings in Sweden to closely (Norway either, for that matter), but do see items posted about both countries occasionally, mostly about how goofy they are getting. But I still would be happy to be on your ping list. If there is anything you need from me to make that happen, please let me know.
