"Was her incongruence with her picture all that bothered you?"

Oh, I see.
I should think about dating/marrying somebody I don't find attractive, to prove how deep I am.
We Freepers are so superior as look into someone's heart and fall in love with what we find there, while ignoring the superficial........
I'm 52 and still single.
Appearance is not where I plan to begin the compromise!

G, Larry;

Do you think you might be single at 52 because you put too much emphasis on a woman's looks and not enough on her character?

Just a thought...

Dang - missed it. I wasn't home last night - went to see a play with some friends.

Is this going to be a regular thing? Geez - what kind of life do I have.......

LOL, while you were at the theater, we were all sitting at our computer, lamenting our lack of social life. What'd you see? Would you recommend it?

Scott7278 has the ping list.

Speaking of caffeine, have you ever eaten Chocolate Covered Roasted Coffee Beans?

I saw my very favorite play - "Our Town" - put on by the Cincinnati Shakespeare Festival. It was done very well, except for a few things. I just love that play and I am probably the only one who noticed these things.

Scott,

Please do add me to the list. I have my monthly bowling league tonight, but should be back by 10:30 or so EST to get in on the fun.

Nope, but I'm sure if I had any, I'd be spinning around the office like the Tasmanian Devil. Combine that with rock candy, I'd be a doomsday machine. B-) I rmemeber when my cousin was in the Navy, he hooked the jets to the catapults to be launched and there were times they had to be on alert for a long time. They made "Alert 5 Coffee" where they brewed it, and dumped it back into to be rebrewed 4 more times and this really kept them awake. They also took coffee beans or grounds and put them in their mouths and sucked on them.

And they all look like Hillary Clinton. Yikes!!!! I think I'd keep myself to saner stuff like my idea of writing "A Christmas Carol" starring "The Village People." B-D

I guess I didnt say whether I would recommend it...

ABSOLUTELY! If you can go see this play and it does not pull at your heart you may need to get yourself checked out - LOL. It helps if you are a complete sap like me, though.
