It's pretty amazing to see the growth of the thread...
Did you have fun during the Formula 1 race?

Hopefully.
Unfortunately, almost all my toons have been huge bombs, with little readership and almost no responses. I'm hoping more people will get interested.

Oh, tulip, turn that upside down...or, no wait...sideways? Reverse? I think you know what I mean.
Thank you, scott. You are added.

So Arthur, King of the Britons, responded to the gatekeeper with a trick question....
but here is an answer I found on Google....lol
Airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow November 24, 2003
Jonathan Corum has expanded upon half of the age old question, What is the Airspeed Velocity of an Unladen Swallow?.
Critical to this is his explanation of The Strouhal Number in Cruising Flight. However, as Mr Corum notes, it's also a bit of a trick answer to ask "African or European," because 47 of the 74 worldwide swallow species are found in Africa, but only two are named after the continent. Of these, only the South African swallow comes close in its migratory path.
One may further speculate that, given an average body mass of 20g, and with a 28cm wingspan, the European Swallow would be capable of carrying much and that any payload would substantially impact its speed of 22.36 miles per hour, suspiciously close to the impact speed of falling off a 20 foot ladder

Are they gone? That's okay, they'll be back at some point, I guess.

I am lucky. My 3 year old actually loves peas. He will take the bag of frozen peas out of the freezer and ask me to make them for him as a snack.
