Berlin (dpa) - Actors Catherine Zeta-Jones and Antonio Banderas at the presentation of their latest film on Sunday in Berlin expressed their concerns about the government of U.S. President George W. Bush.
Banderas openly criticized the U.S. government, saying it had done its job very poorly. The price for Bush's policies would be enormous not only for the U.S., he said, but for the rest of the world.
Zeta-Jones also stated her dissatisfaction with the current U.S. administration.

They are just "reading lines" from an earlier remake of the same tired "formula " movies Hollywood have produced since the Sixties.
They think themselves "couragous" like the "pinko actors" during the so-called Red Scare and hope somebody in the government would "persecute" them.
Except nobody gives a damn.

Pre-Hollywood ,Banderas was a protege/toy-boy of the flamboyant, communist, Spanish director Almodovar, a Bush-basher himself. The movies they did together were homosexually themed and scened, mirroring their real-life relationship. Zeta-Jones before she became famous posed nude for a tacky magazine in the UK. I guess those backgrounds and the exhibitionistic profession they're in give them moral authority to lambaste our President for his government policies.
Rats. I'm in love with Antonio. He should just keep quiet and look fabulous.

Zeta Jones dropped out of school at 15 and Banderas makes no mention of a high school education-just taking some " drama classes " at 19.
Can anyone explain why we are supposed to give the opinions of these two uneducated people more weight than the average American with a basic GED ?
I need more proof.
CZJ has openly stated previously that as a Welsh citizen, she wasn't comfortable making comments about American policies.
That said, she's married to someone who is much more astute about these things and her gum-flapping would reflect poorly on him.
I just can't see it.
