Berlin (dpa) - Actors Catherine Zeta-Jones and Antonio Banderas at the presentation of their latest film on Sunday in Berlin expressed their concerns about the government of U.S. President George W. Bush.

Banderas openly criticized the U.S. government, saying it had done its job very poorly. The price for Bush's policies would be enormous not only for the U.S., he said, but for the rest of the world.

Zeta-Jones also stated her dissatisfaction with the current U.S. administration.

"Taking political advice from an entertainer is like taking medical advice from a jackass. The levels of competency are equal."

Kinda like the old commercial:

"I'm not a real doctor but I play one on TV."

Why do these performers want to commit professional suicide?

Do they seriously think people will ignore their negative personalities?

Old hollywood knew very well that private and public images were on in the same. The studios worked overtime to control that.

Now come these two "pretty people" who just barf hatred. There are not enough left wing loonies to support their careers.

Who knows? In Hollywood it's fashionable. It's possible that she's only saying it because it's a matter of survival in the movie subculture. But I can't say I really care why she said it. Most of these celebrities are semi literate and probably haven't read two books in their adult lives. Forget serious news sources for current events.

Somebody probably told her that would be a good way to sell the movie.

Just add these two to the list of boycotted actors & actresses!

It would be easier for me to keep a list of people I allow myself to watch. It's getting shorter every time one of these IDIOTS opens its mouth. It's not about President Bush any longer. It's about them trashing the United States of America in another country!

Note to IDIOTS: LEAVE IF YOU AREN'T HAPPY! Most of us won't miss you!!!

Hollywood and hookers have something in common.

Know one wants your opinion, they just want you to perform.

Both Zeta-Jones and Banderas look good when they are "airbrushed". As with the vast majority of the Hollywood crowd, the airbrush not only blew away their physical flaws, it also blew away their brains. 'nuf said....

The original film they made was stupid and rather bizarre. The sequel is bound to be stupider.

Very true. There may have been rumors flying about any number of them, but there were very few blatant, "in your face", personal stances on controversial issues. Rock Hudson is an example. He held onto his "image" for as long as he could do so.
