ok, I give up..I didn't see the thread on this..what happened?
Sounds to me like he was going too fast and high sided himself. Guess he didn't "know about motorcycles" as much as he thought.
Uh, I smell ozone.
There is no way for us to "know all the facts" about news articles posted here. Be real. You don't know all the facts, either.
You signed up today for this?
Sorry, but that is a tactic of lying trolls. It is not the sort of thing real people do when they have important personal issues to deal with.
We are not "personal."
Understand that the "insensitive" comments on that news story were made based on the facts portrayed therein. If the reporter got his/her facts wrong, your complaint should be to them. Motorcycle fatalities based on foolhardy stunts are a daily occurrence -- and as such, are the fault of the rider.
Second, you unilaterally claim that "Office [sic] Bill Bamford works in adminstration, 'desk job' [sic] and is only called out to talk with the media, in which [sic] they report wrong." Are we to accept your interpretation, or should be contact Officer Bamford's mother first?
We've had more than our share around here of putative "mothers" who posthumously hijack their child's legacy for another purpose.
If you are who you say you are, I'd have a lot more things to worry about at this point than what people on an internet discussion forum had to say, if I were you.
Another poser. Someone here on FR runs a ping list for these types of coincidences. Can't think of who it is though. All about the person that signs up today because they read some thread about their relative, friend, aquaintenance, etc. and about how we at FR are a bunch of heartless jerks making fun fo their misfortune. I still cannot see the enjoyment these trolls get out of it. What's the purpose?
Obviously.
Know all the facts before passing judgement? When they pry my keyboard out of my cold, dead hands, maybe.
Just Hummmmmmmmmmmm............
MM
Ozone??
Sorry, but this has to be a troll. Too bad about Steve.
Let's be careful out there.
My heart and prayers go out to you.
I'm terribly sorry to hear of your loss, and the thread to which you're referring is awful.
the vast majority of the first 20 posts are nothing but evil, malicious, self-serving, sanctimonious rantings.
The article was written in such a way as to make it sound as if your son was either incompetant or a lunatic, and that he may have "gotten what he deserved." Certainly on that thread, there were plenty of postings with the same intent.
Again, my sympathy and regrets to you on your loss.
Sincerely,
Mark
"Brown was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic... was not wearing helmet."
If he was such a good driver, why was he speeding and weaving in and out of traffic?
Good drivers don't speed and weave through traffic.
"So let this be your teaching before you pass judgement"
WTF?
Let me get this straight, you come here to PRETEND you are the mother of this supposed 'good driver' who was speeding and weaving through traffic, and then after you prove you know less than you claim, it is supposed to be a lesson to us?
That's like shooting yourself in the foot to 'show the other guy'.
I think you'll be interested in this....
sorry about the loss of your son...
but he was apparently weaving in and out of traffic (according to witnesses) and bringing a bad name to all of us bikers. if he knew what you think he knew, he wouldn't engage in that sort of behavior.
hot dogging is risky and unfortunately he paid the price for his bad decision.
