The last couple of seasons the "token black" couples have been courteous and good game players etc. while some other familys in the race were psycho ugly americans.

I think we are beyond tokens.
The winners last season and the Blacks this season were just good folk.
I didn;t even think about their race, except the slight clumsiness with their family name.
Good folk are good folk -- color is unimportant. The Paolo's are NOT good folk and will fall soon.

I didn't see that coming at all. TAR was sly with their promos :) I thought for sure it would be one of the lesser seen teams, like the Bransens. Oh well. At least the Linzs and the Godlewskis are still in.

I hope an advertising firm watching this thinks the same. Those kids were so respectful and tried their best. The problem with the boat, just threw them. Sad to see the kids lose first day. : (
