I don't quite understand Carolina. I think the NFC is full of teams that almost impossible to judge - they could be world beaters or they could be bottom dwellers.

I think that Dallas, Carolina, New York, Tampa Bay and Washington all seem to fit this category. Arizona was supposed to be a real contender this year but they really haven't shown it.

The Falcons and the Eagles are the only two teams in the NFC that seem to be solidly in the upper tier. The Eagles are the Eagles so they will be solid but the Falcons still have to wrestle with consistency and a QB gaining experience in the league.

Oh, I will indulge you. As a die hard Viking fan who really thought this would be the year, I must admit if we can't be in first, I am glad that it's Detroit, and not the Bears or the Packers.

I live right smack in the middle of Packer country, and I am thrilled that I can gloat for at least one week. Since we play the Falcons next week, I am sure that I won't be cheering then. All I can hope for is a Carolina win against the Pack, so we are at least still beating them!!

The Steelers are excellent...the Pats are making too many mistakes, penalties, turnovers, Brady is not on the same page as his receivers,,,,,I don't mean to take away anything from your team.
