My goodness; Eagles had a horrible time kicking off. And David Akers is out with an injury.

Yea, I'd hate to see Philadelphia lose. /s
They have five penalties for 35 years in the first quarter.

WHO SHALL WIN? Well, at least this week the Lions won't lose!
Thank God for "Bye" weeks - last week's loss to the lowly Bears was so, so ugly.....

Thank God for "Bye" weeks - last week's loss to the lowly Bears was so, so ugly.....Did you hear Mariucci saying he couldn't wait for the next match up with them? Like one time of humiliation isn't enough for him?

The Patriots have lost Harrison and Starks...if both of them are seriously hurt it does not look good for a winning season....this is not good.
To: scott says
Losing Harrison is very bad news for the Patriots. Harrison's face looked very sad as he was being wheeled off. I hope it was just due to pain and not contemplation of a career ending injury.
Enberg just noted that Starks is back on the field so that is somewhat of a plus for the Pats.
To: JeffAtlanta
I missed the announcement on Starks.I hope you are right...I have a bad feeling. If they lose more DB's you can count them out...the D is not playing well....
Your Falcons look good..its nice to see them having some success.
To: ShadowDancer
I saw TB vs. GB. Bucs defense, as usual, was dominant; offense looked good, but really faltered in the second half. Cadillac Williams rushed for his third straight 100-plus yard game - he's the first rookie in NFL history to do that (according to the announcers). Favre can still zip the ball; he had two excellent TD throws, but he was bitten again by the interception bug. Unfortunately for him, he doesn't have a lot of offensive weapons; they're really missing Javon Walker and Bubba Franks.

My Fins won! ... Even though the station that was supposed to carry the game decided to carry Tampa Bay vs Green Bay instead. My roommate was happy about that one (big Packers fan), but I felt cheated.
And no Dolphins game next week, either. Arg.

Yeah, the Falcons are doing pretty well. I really don't understand last week's loss to Seattle though. It's hard to know with the Falcons if that was just an aberration or evidence that the Falcons still suffer from inconsistency.
Enberg just announced that Harrison is questionable to return to THIS GAME. I hope that is not just wishful thinking by the Patriots.
To: JeffAtlanta
I really thought that they would win last week.I think they will be very strong this year....I always liked them.I also thought Carolina would be a contender, they don't look like a good pick right now.
