Dave Barry said his baby daughter called the NFL "1-2-3 Fall Down."

They have a couple of guys but they try and force it to Moss too much. Take him away and you'll be fine.

It's going to be another stressful week of watching the Sox. God I love this time of year!

Seattle wins it's second straight, Shawn Alexander shredding Arizona for almost 150 yards and 4 TD's!!!!

On another note, our defense is downright NASTY!

Sounds about right... Ours just gets happy when they throw the ball. She thinks that's neat. Then she throws things at us. :) She's pretty bored with running plays unless I'm jumping up and down screaming "GO GO GO!!!"

Dave Barry the commentator? (yep - showing my naivete here, that is the only thing I found in google.)

Hey, MPF... guess what?

This was Brady's 50th win.

NFL Record: 50-15.

It'll be interesting to see how the new rules change the game in the NHL.

That Adam Vinatieri is worth every dollar the Patriots pay him and then some. He's still a bargain at twice whatever they are paying him.

I had the Patriots 2-1 at this point, having predicted before the season began that they would beat Oakland and Carolina and then to lose in Pittsburgh. No way did I think the Pats would pull off another win in Pittsburgh. So this scenario actually works out better as the Pats are still unbeaten against AFC teams.

The Pats should cruise over San Diego next week at home but the Chargers are looking scary tonight. Then again, they really have it in for Eli and you can't blame them for that.

Both New York football teams are going to lose today and that's going to make for some fun reading in the New York Post tomorrow! Too bad the Yankees couldn't lose also.

I wish the NFL was like school. Sept to June. Summers off.

I think by the time June rolled around the teams would be physically destroyed...I like the idea. Hockey runs on that schedule, with preseason thru playoffs....now there is a grueling schedule for ya!

Lousy Blue Jay bullpen. Let's hope they stink against the Sox as well. I don't have much faith in the Orioles doing much against the Yankees over the next four days either.

You can feel the heartbeat of Patriot fans everywhere slow down when Vinatieri walks onto the field.

I also thought they'd be 2-1 with a loss against the Steelers. This works out much better. The Carolina loss reminds me of the game they lost the 'Skins back in 2003. They played like crap and it motivated them throughout the rest of the year.

True, I didn't think of that! Fantasy football would be a free-for-all with all the injuries.

Brady is also like that in a two minute drill. Why the heck didn't Cowher run the ball on first and goal so he could at least burn some clock?!

How hurt was Benny after he got rattled?

It looked like he landed on his left wing (late in the 2nd Q), and never got back on track after that.

Sep 25 According to a broadcast report Sunday, running back Travis Henry will be suspended for four games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, the Associated Press reports. CBS said on its pregame show that Henry would be disciplined. A Titans spokesman said he was unaware of the situation. Phone messages left with Hadley Engelhard, Henry's agent, were not returned.
