AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1707) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | September 23, 2005 | All of Us

Posted on 09/23/2005 4:26:33 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

CAT IV HURRICANE RITA ADVISORY PACKAGE #23

[NOTE: This information is drawn primarily from the NHC/TPC.]

RITA has completed an eyewall replacement cycle and maximum winds are at 140 MPH and an eye that is 40 miles in diameter. Recon aircraft noted a new wind maxiuma at 65 miles from center, so it is possible that RITA is beginning yet another eyewall replacement cycle.

Course guidance is solid through landfall and up to VT +72 hours. Landfall is predicted near Sabine Pass, TX. As RITA is again over the Loop Current, some strengthening could take place; however, shear is increasing from the south. If strengthening occurs as forecast, landfall should occur with 145 MPH winds.

After landfall, a major flooding event appears to be shaping up for Arkansas and NE Texas as RITA will likely stall near Texarkana at VT +72 hours.

Landfall is forecast for 5 AM CT tomorrow.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Why, anywhere liberals may be found... And irritated! Take care of that wrist[?], if the [dressing] feels too uncomfortable, a phone call may be in order to your surgeon or physician! Better safe than sorry!

Found something bloggily interesting, here is a small excerpt from a Soldier in Iraq:

Our four are a motley crew. They were aged from early twenties to mid-thirties, near as I could guess. Their uniforms were dirty, ill fitting, but of uniform pattern. They all were copies of the old US Army "chocolate chip" Desert Camo design, reminiscent of the first Gulf War. It is odd to think about, soldiers of a new army, wearing the same, albeit old and discarded, style uniform of the force that repulsed their predecessors from Kuwait over a dozen years ago. Almost symbolic, if you ask me. A new, free army, wearing the clothing of a force that restored the sovreignty of a nation from the rule of their former dictator.

This stuff is worth your time, IMNSHO! Again, hope it's not a repeat.

I think my mil's dr. is a ATRW FReeper/lurker. Her visit consisted of him telling me to drive her to a nursing home to check out the facilites.

Yes, is that not the good [stuff], and this guy can turn a phrase, eh? Am almost ashamed to say I found a link to this article in, ugh, Time Ragazine, in surfing around about those wacky blogs, they a new thing to me. [I'm so old/tired/uninformed!] But it was worth the walk through the car wash to scrub the skankiness of Time off my scaly hide, to be sure!

Oh yes...she was right there and it was directed to her...HOWEVER...she has selective hearing. She may have heard, but refuses to admit it happened.

He , also, suggested a psychiatrist.

WOW what a catch, Nita.

I know what you mean about the bed. I can't just lie in bed and I always feel better when I have some day clothes on, even if I only slump around.

I'm watching Sarah, Plain and Tall. Ya' know, I really ought to get some of the royalties.

I cheated and did a lot of work from home, because I felt guilty taking so many days off after not having been hospitalized...

Tonite I got to stay awake long enough to watch the whole game tho.
