A long-time Summit County cheerleading instructor has been charged with having sexual contact with a 16-year-old male student.
Mishelle Robinson, a 31-year-old instructor at one of the state's most prestigious cheerleading and dancing facilities, faces felony charges of sexual battery.
Robinson has been a coach at Northeast Ohio All-Stars Training Center for eight years.
The owners of All-Stars have said publicly that whatever Robinson is accused of doing happened during the offseason and had nothing to do with NEO All-Stars.
The Summit County Sheriff's Department, which is investigating the incident, would not elaborate on the allegations, except to confirm that the alleged incident did not take place at the training facility.
Although her biography still appears on the NEO All-Stars Web site, the company said Robinson was suspended immediately after she was questioned by authorities, and that no parents complained about her behavior before the arrest.
But the Web site also shows just how successful Robinson's career has been. Robinson was head coach of the senior advanced and junior elite teams at the center, boasting a long list of national championships and impressive finishes at competitions across the country.
Robinson was released on a $25,000, 10 percent bond. Her next court appearance is scheduled for Friday.
Stefi Graf is not looking too good these days...
That's a man, baby!
