So, these two guys start on even ground, cash in on the doper persona massively.

Then one grooms a career in the Industry, and the other makes bongs and eschews soap and water for 30 years, eventually goes to jail, gets out, and calls Marin a "Sellout".

Leftist Hippie-Dippies are useless wastes of oxygen, they mooch, encroach, stink, harangue and drag the whole world down with them, -every -last -stinking one of them. Call me Archie Bunker.

I saw a HILARIOUS bit on Mind of Mencia where he said that because there were so many Hispanic Catholics and because Christ was named Jesus--pronounced hey-soos, the Pope should've been Hispanic, and he brought out Cheech Marin dressed as the Pope. "Pope Cheech" then proceeded to declare that his first edict would be to use tequila instead of red wine at communion. Somebody's gonna go to hell for sure.......

The only people that get mad at somebody for "selling out" are the folks that have never been bid on. Cheech can make money just walking out on stage and being introduced, sweet work if you can get it, and at least he can do rolls other than the stoned Mexican (he was pretty solid in Nash Bridges, a show I enjoyed inspite of its many flaws).

Let's see Cheech has an excellent career on several good shows over the past 10 years and is still funny, while Tommy shows up on That 70s Show (when he isn't in jail) to play a pothead...yep Tommy Cheech really sold out..
