Tongiht's Sci-Fi listing:

7/6 - Firefly: Showing repeats and previews for the movie Serenity in a couple of weeks!!!! Woo Hoo!

8/7 - SG1: Special 2 hr SG1. Basically it getting close to mid season finales. No new episodes of SG1 till Jan... My mid season grade for Sg1 is A.. I like it how the Ben Browder has taken over the show and doing one heck of a job. Also the new enemy the Ori make the Gouald look like a bunch of wimps...

10/9 - Battlestar Galatica: A cylon virus is on the Galatica.. Last episode was awesome for a filler show. I liked the ending and I also liked it how they played the orginal theme song..

Even my TIVO is showing trailers for the Serenity movie, not that it bothers me.

The last movie I saw in the theaters was Team America, suppose I might have to go to a theater again.

Twice in less than a year, now that's scary.

My wife and I didn't see a lot of movies this year (it was a crappy year for movies).

I'm hearing bad things about that show.. The show was created by Brannon Braga (who was one the dweebs behind Enterprise)..

Also the new enemy the Ori make the Gouald look like a bunch of wimps...

That planet a couple weeks ago blowed up real good...

Plus seeing the Cigarette Smoking Man from X-Files as a prior last week upped the creepy factor for me...

I hadn't heard of Threshold ... the premise sounds good -- depends on what they do with it.

This is my first season to watch SG1. Do they always take a mid-season break like this?

I have some of the DVD's and they are all 22 episodes.

Just talking about Brent Spinner last nite to domestic partner. He's (about 12 years late) gotten interested in Star Trek NG, he tapes them on Spike and watches them at night. We were both saying how much we link Brent and wondering where he's been.

He was on a 2-part episode of Enterprise and certainly made the show better just by his presence.

It seems SciFi runs about 6 or 8 epi's and takes a 6 month hiatus.

I've noticed that cable originals do seem to have much shorter seasons.

In Atlantis Rodney only destroy 3/4 of solar system.. Amateur.. In Sg1, if you are going destroy a planet, you might as well take down the who solar system.. Never watched X-Files, so I can't say anything about the show..
