Researchers have long realized that our sense of smell contributes greatly to our overall satisfaction or disatisfaction with foods. It has also been established that smells can trigger memories, good or bad, of events long ago.
Here at the Pissant Research Center, we've now compiled the definitive list of smells that improve our moods and make getting out of bed each morning that much easier!
Top 7 Pleasurable Smells
1. Baked Pies:--It does not matter weather its apple, blueberry, or pumpkin. It triggers an instant drool reaction
2. Chocolate Chip Cookies:--Self evident
3. A Good Hoppy Beer:--The combination of the sweet smelling malt and the flowery hops...makes me want to crack one right now!!
4. A Woman's Perspiration:--Not the 3 days without a shower smell, rather the smell of a clean, lightly perfumed woman who is sweating for the best of reasons
5. Gasoline:--There's a reason why many people get brain damage from huffing. Plus it reminds us of sunny days mowing the lawn
6. Fresh Mowed Grass:--Often follows the smell of gasoline and the preceeds the smell of a Good Hoppy Beer
7. Pipe Tobacco:--Everyone had a relative that smoked a pipe, and in light concentrations, the stuff smells good enough to eat.

Come on Millee -- just look at that winning smile of Souter and imagine the aroma of Stetson (you may now barf to your heart's content.)
To: Mr. Jeeves
Yep Stetson. But I also like Brut & Old Spice too. (This may explain why I've been banned from several local nursing homes....)

Howie is married and has kids. He was my favorite Raider to watch. I loved to see his ass when he got in his stance right before sacking some quarterback.

Leather. Not from what you're probably thinking. ;7) I like walking in my tack room in the barn. Nothing beats the smell of a new saddle.

my wife has this stuff from "aveda", I don't know what it is or why, but every time I open that drawer, oh man. I've been told men go mad for the scent of amber. Maybe it's in that aveda "stuff...?"

When I need an image to purge, or just to stop thinking about sex, I think about Alan Colmes. He is the ugliest dude on the planet I think.

Why is it that my wife does think it is sexy when I come home from the gym "glistening"?
To: Petronski

"I loved to see his ass when he got in his stance right before sacking some quarterback."Hmmm...But don't ALL heineys look the same when the linemen get in their "stance"?
But then again, my sphere of @ss-@ssessment would be extending past the football players toward the cheerleaders.

The smell of an approaching rain storm. The smell of the approaching first snow here in MI. Usually mid-November.
