Hannity and Colmes Use Freeper Story without credit

Posted on 09/13/2005 6:51:54 PM PDT by Miami Vice

Freeper Michael P.Tremoglie ( William Tell 2 ) broke a story on Free Republic about the floodgate project that was aborted in 1977 because of an environmentalist lawsuit. Tremoglie quoted Professor Stone of LSU stating that if the floodgates at the Rigolets and Chef Menteur passes had been built the flooding would have been alleviated. Just do a search for poster William Tell 2 the title is Compassionate Liberalism 3 Environmentalists may have caused Flooding

Yet Hannity and Colmes did not bother to credit Tremoglie.

This is a classic example of conservative's eating their own. Liberals at least will stick together.

What a shame. A smalltime freelance conservative journalist gets a scoop and the big boys won't even give him credit. So instead of maybe getting a chance to make a living he gets ripped off.

I am going to contact Hannity and Colmes and give them a piece of my mind.

Freep Hannity and Colmes!!

BTW I forgot to add thanks very much for the kind words.

I should not have said what I did however I just read through the thread and some of the comments were really cruel. Even though they were not to me Miamivice was just being helpful. Why they crucified him is beyond me.

Oh well who can explain human nature.

No kiddin he's an ass for sure...he believes the truth is whatever his middle finger to the wind tells him...what a jerk. So, just because he thinks it's the truth whether or not it is doesn't matter...he'll spew it anyway.

Well you can't be all bad if you drink tequila.

Commerativo is my favorite (I think the spelling is correct then again maybe not. I just drink it I don't memorize the label.)

All this grasping for credit is very unseemly.

This paragraph is in the middle of the Tremoglie article:
The New Orleans Army Corps of Engineers and Professor Stone were not the only people cognizant of the consequences that could and did result because of the environmental activists. While speaking with Sean Hannity on his radio show on Labor Day, former Louisiana Congressman and Speaker of the House Bob Livingston also referred to environmentalists whose litigation prevented hurricane prevention projects.
