AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 1696) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | September 12, 2005 | All of Us

Posted on 09/12/2005 4:22:45 AM PDT by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Louisiana is preparing for an epic legal struggle as tens of thousands of homeowners there will soon discover their insurance policies won't cover rebuilding as floods are not covered. Moreover, Federal flood insurance only covers losses up to $250,000.

Otherwise, recovery from KATRINA continues.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

I'm a longtime lurker on ATRW and have posted a few times over the years.

I need the help of you great people on this thread...Please consider this an urgent plea!!

Two of my dearest friends are going through a very difficult time. They will be meeting with doctors tomorrow in Charleston, SC to find out the extent of a brain tumor that was found just last week in the husband. They are both teaching friends of mine. I worked closely with the wife for many years and she just retired last June. Then, they moved from NY to SC to their dreamhouse and a great life of retirement. Now this.....

I'm being called on to be their contact person up north and have been briefing my school and the entire district on the situation. Can any of you great ATRW people provide me with some prayers that I can share. I feel strongly that this is what I'm being called on to do at this time and in the future. The feeling is overwhelming and I need help.

I will appreciate any and all suggestions. You can even send them to me on private reply. Thank you for your time and cooperation...And, please pray for my dear friends at their time of crisis. I know everything is going to work out thanks to all of the prayers. Thank you all so much!

Dog, we need to talk. Women of Mary's type look cute until they get to be about 55; then they suddenly look like Pekingese dogs.

In addition, because they have been "cute" through their adolescence and young adulthood, they think they are entitled to everything.

If you run into a Mary Landrieu type in everyday life, run away!

Best of luck to you, W.! P.A.B. is so far out of my reach that I don't even entertain those thoughts.

St. Jude's prayer

O most holy apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the church honors and invokes you universally, as the patron of hopeless cases, of things almost despaired of. Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone.

Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege given to you, to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly (state your request) and that I may praise God with you and all the elect forever.

I promise, O blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you.

Amen.

Jane, did you see the link posted the other day pointing you to , a great copy/paste utility that will let you, in a few clicks, pull up text, links or whatever you can copy to the single-shot Windoze Clipboard? It works great!

Thirds and Dog, read the tagline!

I went to high school with too many types like Brown Roots Landrieu. They now show up at the reunions, and they are chubby, whiney, and need cosmetic surgery. Amazingly, they still think they are the high school queens they once were.

And all of them are as dumb as a box of rocks.

Those types are poson. Trust me. If you don't trust me, ask their husbands.

Do you have that link handy? Or, which day was it, and I'll go find it. I remember seeing it, but I was stuck with my computer acting up while I had a huge open file, so I didn't go copy the link. Thanks for your help!

You and your friends are being added to my prayer list. My advice for you is to be sure to be disciplined in having a daily time one-on-one with Lord. Spend it in prayer, Bible reading and jus plain silent contemplation. A rough road is ahead, but GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Jim, I cannot tell you how hurt I am. I have inferred from your comments about my having a similarity with a movie star that you didn't think I hurt your eyes. But now this. THIS PUTS ME IN THE SAME CATEGORY AS THAT WOMAN!!! I'm telling you here and now, I LOOK NOTHING LIKE GLENN CLOSE OR MARY POOPHEAD.

From one of the newer, modern translations of the Bible:

Romans 8:26-27 ~ Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God's Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don't know how or what to pray, it doesn't matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our [current] condition, and keeps us present before God.

Just pray from your heart. Don't get worried about what words you use.

May God bless your friends and those who care for them!

Thank you! Unfortunately, the following comes from that website... And an interesting bit of trivia, to boot!

Q: ARE YOU MARRIED?
PAB:Yes. I got married in May 2004.

Q: IS IT TRUE THAT YOU HAVE A TWIN?
PAB: Yes, I have two wonderful sisters: an identical twin and a sister who is a year younger. I don’t have any brothers, but I have three great brothers-in-law and a terrific sister-in-law.

Oh, well, 3 BIL's? Sigh...
