I was just dozing off and thought I heard (o FOX) that doctors in NOLA were giving patients lethal doses of morphine?
Oooh I'm sure the list will be long, asses are being covered as we post. By the time it ends, I'm sure Bunko and Nagin will come out smelling of roses.
Yes, but Terri's case brought it into mainstream consciousness. The pace has accelerated. Euthanasia will become acceptable very soon.
Then tell me what the Doctors should have done? Let them die or suffer in 100 or more degree heat, in pain, thirsty, cursing the hell that was not of their creation. I, for one, do not blame the doctors (again IF this happened), my blame falls on the shoulders of others.
Not that I know of.
The hospitals should have been completely evacuated prior to the storm. Failure to do so was criminal neglience. The scenarios were entirely predictable.
There is a big difference between making a dying person comfortable and actively killing someone out of some misguided compassion. Healers have no business and no right to become killers.
I can see the Sen Biden greeting:
Welcome to the Senate Special Committee to Investigate Republican Failure. I want to thank the Governor and the Mayor for their unswerving and compassionate actions in preventing the Republicans from committing genocide on the poor people of LA.
I think I was just doing a post and not addressing you necessarily. I've been laying blame back and forth since the levee broke. The day Americans stop trying to figure out who's to blame when things go terribly wrong, we're through.
Hmmmm....I say that lately FoxNews has been as bad as other new organizations in jumping the gun with stories and somehow you read that I trust NYSlimes and CommunistNN more?
See folks, proof that you see and hear what you want to see and hear.
What do you see and hear? Where do you get information that you even trust a little? If you trust none of it you might as well watch the Cartoon Network and log on to Party Poker.
Some others have noticed this ref too. This is one of the excerpts:
Mr McQueen, a utility manager for the town of Abita Springs, half an hour north of New Orleans, told relatives that patients had been "put down", saying: "They injected them, but nurses stayed with them until they died."
Sure, this has been going on regularly for some time as I was eyewitness several years ago. I can understand the sympathy in such cases. Still, the murder of Terri makes it easier to accept euthanasia in general as sort of acceptable, especially with heart wrenching stories which are so close to explainable.
Coming up to bat is Scott Thomas about to get the treatment as he struggles to survive. We have been discussing it on the Terri September Dailies
starting at #468.

No problem! This was one of the FEW times that I was able to dispel a (potential) "MSM blow up" based on a good, solid source! I figured I might as well tell what I know. :-)
No Problem, I think everyone is going through the same thing.
Okay, take a step back Mike. I have absolutely no idea how you got off on that tangent above from my original post telling people that lately FoxNews has been jumping the gun on reporting some things without any verification, which they have.
First off, just because I say that does not mean I now trust the Slimes, Post, etc. It means exactly what I said: That Fox sometimes jumps the gun on some stories, just like everyone else. It does not mean they are fabricating stories, like the supposed main stream media does!
Secondly: Just because FNC is doing that does not negate much of their other reporting. It just means take the reporting of seemingly outlandish stories (like doctors performing euthanasia in the Superdome) with a grain of salt. I would still trust them more than any other non-internet outlet.
How you got to me not trusting any news source at all (except Cartoon Channel, very clever) from that post is beyond me. You are reading things that are not there. Your interpretation techniques are flawed.
Oh, and BTW, I get most of my news from the Internet and mainly from this site.
Now, I cannot wait to see how you interpret the words above this time!
I hadn't seen it until now. I'm afraid I'm PRO LIFE. I prefer GOD Almighty to determine when my time on this earth is finished. I was also an RN for years. However, no such thing as this was EVER done to my knowledge. This is a slippery slope and soon it leads to many different DEFINITIONS of "terminal". The Netherlands is a killing fields now. The imperfect, the useless eaters, the this , the that, FORGET IT or welcome NAZISM with open arms!! CO
morphine is kind compared to what they did to Terri by starving and dehydrating her to death HOWEVER, it is STILL the same thing.
I'm not necessarily going to take any Doctors WORD for it. How can we possibly know for SURE whether these people were actually dying? Sounds like a very effective way to "clear the decks" in a bad situation but that does NOT make it RIGHT!!
Absolutely. Doctors swear an OATH to save lives, not take them. My husband is a Lawyer and if He swears an Oath and breaks it, he just might not be a Lawyer the next day!! This has a very bad SMELL to it!!
