Fav quote from that article:

"So what, Judge was asked, does he think the show's legacy will be?

"That at a time when TV was constantly trying to shock everybody all the time, we had a show that was kind of a quiet hit and was portraying normal, unhip middle-Americans with dignity — instead of just making fun of them in a crass way."

Wasn't it Hank that said " I miss voting for that man" when speaking of Reagan?

PEGGY: "I am going to scare my students, exactly the way President Reagan scared hundreds of millions of Russians with his Star Wars death beam."

HANK: "God, I miss voting for that man."

During the '00 campaign season, they had an episode where Bush-supporter Hank was shocked to learn his candidate had a weak handshake. They implied at the end that he voted for Gore. Give me a break.

LOL, interesting. I didn't think Peggy was really into Bill. I'd like to see more of Hank's older Japanese brother, and also Bill's relationship with Kahn's (sp) mother, that was funny. Will Dale ever figure out why Joseph looks so much like John Redcorn?

I'm disappointed, too. It's one of the truly funny things left on tv. I hope they can be persuaded to go the simpson's route, come back for a couple more seasons.

I love that show because it's so un-Hollywood. Judge truly put his vision on the screen and found an audience who knew what he was getting at. You don't see that very often.

Hank, on shopping at the Mega-Lo-Mart:

"I like that I can buy my pants and a hammer at the same place. So I can see how they'll look together."

Cotton named his new baby "G.H." which stands for Good Hank. He said he thought Hank would never amount to much.

Hank: We all die in the end. But, what does it all mean?

Boomhouer: Yeah Man ...Unintelligible gibberish.

Hank: Yes, that's what we all tell ourselves.

Don't forget that Judge was also the maker of Office Space. One of the best comedies of the past 15 years, even if it didn't do big box office.

Same here on the Simpsons. I never could get into them much but I was into KOTH instantly.
Funniest thing I ever noticed in the Simpsons was they were riding through Chinatown and they went past a store that said "Toys L Us" with the L backwards. I laughed about that for 2 days.

Much to Fox's surprise, Office Space is one of their top 10 selling DVDs.

"Our high school guidance counselor used to ask us what you'd do if you had a million dollars and you didn't have to work. And invariably what you'd say was supposed to be your career. So, if you wanted to fix old cars you're supposed to be an auto mechanic. "

"So what did you say?"

"I never had an answer. I guess that's why I'm working at Initech."
