I am having serious doubts about continuing to be a Republican. ZOT!
Posted on 09/02/2005 3:48:10 PM PDT by UndercoverFreeper
Hi, I'm a long time lurker, having posted a few times, but been a Freeper for close to two years. I have had lots of doubts with President Bush for some time, even before the 2004 elections, but I didn't like Kerry so I voted for Bush again. But this tragedy has hit too close to home. I lived in Idaho for several years before moving back to Alabama, and I live in Washington County, and I left before Katrina hit, and my home is powerless and won't have power or oil for a while. Although I continue to support President Bush, I seriously am thinking about leaving Republican Party for a while because the leadership with the Party has been really bad and I have some relatives in New Orleans that I have not heard since the hurricane hit, and it has shown me that there has been no food or water delivered for more than 3 days until President Bush showed up. Today was the last straw.I'm seriously thinking leaving the Republican Party and tearing up the card and going to Liberterian Party. It still fits within my ideals, but I'm telling you, fellow FReepers, this is it. I'm done. President Bush has totally lost my support. I'm even wondering if the Iraq war is all worth it too. Anyone have the same feelings?

last time I checked, the GOP wasn't in charge in New Orleans, but the Democrats.
You may want to reexamine this entire post if this is the way you feel. This is EXACTLY what the MSM wants.

By all means, vote Hillary! Yea! Saddam is innocent! Yea!

I'm sure the president will be round with the Republican leadership to get your power turned back on very soon.
It's the government ... what do you expect? Go with the Libertarians and when the next Cat 5 hurricane hits you'll be completely on your own.
I'm not saying that's a bad thing, either.

I have reason to believe that Drudge has something very controversial that shows Kerry in a compromising position in a video.
Don't take my word for it.

Matter of fact, this "FReeper" has an entire posting history of 4 posts.

I have to let you know that the FEMA was supposed to be responsible for this, and that's with the Homeland Security, which President Bush created, and it was completely ineffective. The DemocRATS has asked for help from what I read in the MSM DAYS before Katrina hit. And What did President Bush do? Play patty-cake with McCain and go golfing in San Diego. Even George H.W. Bush handled the L.A. Riots much better than his son handling the New Orleans problem now.
