To everyone that is dusgusted by the actions of the renegades in New Orleans I want to express to you that this is the worst and lowest strata of society. Real suffering is going on here in the Pelican State. Indescribable pain and misery. Please do not get a hard heart from seeing the actions of a small percentage of the population that exists the world over.
These suffering men and women are your brothers and sisters in the Lord and fellow Americans and they desperately need your help. Anything that you can do will be appreciated. Baton Rouge has doubled in population, the streets are jammed with people living out of their cars as there are no longer any vacant apartments or hotel rooms.
Over 200,000 businesses are needing to be relocated. Over 1 million are displaced and have no homes. Forget the looters, the problem makers. focus on helping this state recover from the worst natural disaster in American History.
Please give, help, and pray.
Louisiana is bleeding, Louisiana needs you, Louisiana is praying you care.
Our time has come, will you help us?
Would it help if I got 20-30 pallets of drinking water close as close to the coast as allowed
I donated today...The Governor should get going on helping people. I am appalled at the sight of police driving through New Orleans with no water or food. What is going on? I have never seen such a mess. There is a failure of leadership. My husband and I are considering packing up the car with supplies and heading down. We are in Atlanta-not too far. God Bless you, you have my prayers.
God rest those who have passed, and God comfort, buoy up, strengthen and provide help to those who have survived and are in need. May we all be tools in His hands to that end.
We are doing what we can in Houston. Thousands of people from New Orleans are coming here. Of course, the plan to move 23,000 people from the Superdome to the Astrodome has made the news, but that's the tip of the iceberg. A lot of people came here on their own and are staying in hotels, apartments, and the homes of friends.
Government leaders, business leaders, and church leaders are meeting to decide how best to provide and coordinate the help. New Orleans, you will get through this. We are standing by you.
I live outside in Port Allen near Baton Rouge, empty nesters (almost),so we have extra room. Can help 4 with temporary room, food. rcourvi106@aol.com
