In the past month, I have seen a shift in Free Republic that makes me wonder if there is a coup d'etat going on.
I haven't got a count, but it seems there has been more sex-related posts than in the past months since I started coming here.
There have been threads about the gay life style, sex slaves, sex toys, a guy killed after having sex with a horse, numerous porn threads, and more. It is making me sick.
I participated in many of the posts because I felt my input was valuable. However, every time I participate, I feel sickly dirty.
With that, I am taking a break from posting on these themes.
For the record, I believe that healthy sex is between a husband and wife. Anything outside of that is a perversion of God's gift of sex.
Now, for something that may be outside of most people's conservative attitude of sex; I beleive that when Paul wrote that the marriage bed is undefiled, God was giving His blessing on whatever a married couple mutually decides is sex for them, the only caveat being that it involves the two of them and no more.
You are on! I could use an extra $10. That leaves $16,990 more I need to raise to pay for my time spent at Basic Training after I join the National Guard.
Any other bets you want to take?
By the way, since it is self imposed, I can adjust my imposition as I deem necessary, but $10 is $10.

Hye, thanks for joining up! I have some advice - first, dump your girlfriend. Of most of the guys I know who had a rough time in basic, it was almost always because the girlfriend found someone new. Also, Smile. Always smile, and keep smiling. You drill instructors will think you are crazy and won't mess with you as bad as the wussy kid from the city who is scared of the sounds from the range. If you are asked why you are smiling, say it is becauyse you know 100% you made the right choice, and feel lucky to be in this recruit company with this drill sergeant.

I actually, as a result of this thread, went back over my recent pings/posting history -- with the exception of this thread, no postings on "sex" threads of any type (unless you count 1 on abortion and 1 on squeamish fathers in delivery rooms) in the last 100 or so posts or pings.
I do note that it didn't say between a husband and his own wife.
