of course ...
there are many
more younger guys
looking for songs ...
only this calls for a fellow
that has been around awhile ...
and passed over
a lot of road
as he went bye ...

longing ...
on his lonely seat
for the apple of his eye ...
looking out ahead
at the big, big sky

Where is the answer
to our lonely heart
Who knows our every
need and comes to abide
with us inside and meet
us in our thoughts ...
with love pure and true
Who was willing to die

Think of Him
on that lonely ride ...
