I'm glad to see that they're releasing this show. I first saw it when we got cable a few years ago. TV Land pulled it from their lineup shortly thereafter, and I haven't seen it since. A shame. It was a good show (and infinitely better than the pathetic garbage they're playing now...Sanford & Son indeed!).

I first saw this show (on and off) during its original run and in occasional reruns during the 1970s. As far as I can recall, they NEVER had reruns of this show in my area after the 1970s (with the exception of cable tvs TV Land). Unfortunately, I lost my cable tv (couldnt afford it anymore) just before my local cable company added TV Land to its service. Just my luck.

Whats wrong with Sanford and Son? :-) (all 6 seasons of Sanford and Son are out on DVD) with the exception of some below par episodes, it was a pretty good show. Not GREAT, mind you, but quite alright.

I'm glad to see "Emergency!" come out on DVD, maybe at some point they will be like the $1 DVD special too. TVLand is cool, but I was really mad when thy stopped their "Kitschen" show on Friday and Saturday nights where they showed the old Krofft and Filmation (Shazam/Isis) live action shows. I love a lot of the old shows they have like "Andy Griffith," "Leave it to Beaver," "Bewitched" and so on but I think it is time to give them a little rest and show other shows too like "Emergency," "Adam 12," "Airwolf," and so on.
