Thank you so much :D Ive never bonded with a pet the way I did with Gizmo. I had a cat back in the early 90s that I loved very much, but we adopted him out to another family when we had erin because we didnt know how she would react to cat hair after having been in an incubator for two months...turns out the child has no allergies to cat hair...but at least I know that cat was in good hands. Gizmo, however, shows my nothing but pure love. I hate to be of disservice to that.

RE: the encyclopedias. I received an e-mail from a teacher in a low-income school who asked if she could have them. I'll e-mailed her back saying "OF COURSE!", so let's see if she comes to get them.
I wouldn't want to do e-Bay only because the shipping of this box would kill me. That is, if I could even manage to get it to the post office without a forklift. ;-D

Nngh... I had a really bad night. Woke up around two and just lay there trying to sleep until after five.

Did I see on the forecast that Denver might get snow?
I'm heading to the volunteer dealie in a few minutes here. Isn't as much to do this week, so I'm going in slightly later.
And later I'm starting the chili.
Winter's coming! Maybe not last night, but soon.
If'n I get a job where I can take the bus if it's really slippery...we can't get enough snow!
It's only the driving in it I don't care for.
Got that interview tomorrow, so...maybe!
Maybe I'll be able to ride the bus to work, that is.
OK, I'm off.
I sortof like driving in snow, if I'm not in any hurries... That's what I kindof like about the snow we get here, it's occasional enough that it stops everything else from being important, and life slows down for a day or two. (you know what a rat race I'm in after all ;~D)
But I don't have a good feel for what your van would drive like in snow.
I don't mind powdery snow that isn't churned into slushy. That's almost fun to drive in. As long as you make any turns gradually, it's not hard to drive in. Makes ya feel like you're floating. ;-) And on back roads where you're the only car out, the road all white up ahead without any tracks yet (or only snowed over ones) and hearing the sound of the tires in the snow...it's strangely soothing.
But I don't like driving in slushy conditions, and with the amount of traffic we have in town, I can't see snow *not* turning slushy and slick in a hurry. That, I don't like.
OK, NOW I'm out the door.
