I do the same thing to Big'ol
Steve's gonna process her in the morning. I have to get up REALLY early to attend my disaster relief training in Edmond, so I he'll probably get up and do it before the boys get up even.
Won't be like the others...no plucking. The prep for plucking is the hard part. Plus we wanted a pretty nice looking carcass.
This isn't an issue with a stewing hen.
'Supposed to get cold, rainy, and dreary towards the end of next week....a good time to make chicken and dumplings.
"Puffy's Last Night" fits nicely in the keywords.
We need to start PuffysHistory.org.
Just briefly read this...

Gonna have chicken for dinner this Sunday? ;O)
YIKES!
The other area also shows on this chart.
They really are gonna run out of names here...
Chicken Pot Pie, here we come!
Evenin' folkses! Happy Friday!!!! [sip] :-)
Well... its friday night, and I'm staying here at da 'otel. Really need a break after the brain-stir-fry of SOX this week. Trying to relax.
But... the jokes on me... found out today that there's this company manager's meeting going on this weekend, and they're having a big dinner party / social thing with a couple hundred people tonight... and they're doing it here at *my hotel*!!! AAAAaaagggh. How can I miss these people if they'll never go away???
:-)
Yeesh.
*laughing at your expense*
Evenin' everyone!
Just popped some corn and am settling in with National Treasure.
Well... I've snagged a seat outside in a corner by the pool. Maybe they won't notice me. [sip]
Good luck with that! ~snicker~
If I really liked and wanted to hang out with these people I'd already be doing it. There's simply nothing more stuffy and artificial than a company gathering. The conversation is shallow, the BS is deep. The only useful thing is to add alcohol... its a truth serum.
I always take note of who doesn't drink at a company party. Someone that doesn't trust themselves to drink and talk shop is someone to watch your back around.
Yah. One of my guys is coming over to this thing. My boss will probably be here. And the CEO and all the officers. Department heads.
I'm supposed to be there. But I don't wanna go. Told them I wasn't going to be here on those dates. Then forgot that I *was* in fact going to be here.
Dang it. :-)
