'Night, Bear!
I should hear back by the end of the week - if I'm gonna get a second interview. Keeping my fingers crossed!
Rain.
Tried the 'puter-as-a-TV concept last night. As I thought, it's good enough I won't want to buy a TV for the bedroom in the new place (wherever that is).
SirKit was thinking about doing the computer as tv thing. We're taking advantage of the DVR with the satellite right now, but he may look at it again in the future so we can 'record' shows directly to the hard drive, then burn DVDs of the movies, etc. that we want.
Good morning.
Lots to do, lots to do.
Back later. :-D
mornin'
Busy here. Watching Ophelia.
You are turning into a hurricane junkie. Unfortunately, I know the feeling. Best of luck, though it looks fine for Richmond, I think.
Do you have bad weather already from this thing? It looked close enough to me to be affecting your day.
I hope that comes through for you!
It's overcast. But it hasn't rained yet.
In fact, the last rain I remember was that one day at the beach...a month ago.
Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not trying to blow me away...
Grrr....no rain at TheHouse yet. At least, not that you can see on radar.
Morning! We had no internet so I just spent 10 minutes on the phone with Comcast. Before caffeine.
Every one of those things that start percolating, I think they're drawing a bead on me.
Lemme guess...power everything down. Disconnect the power source. Reboot...
Should know quickly! Doesn't sound like they're much for dillydallying.
Good morning! We woke up and had no internet this morning. *gasp*
Luckily Jen called Comcast and saved the day.
No, naturally we tried that before everything else. The cable modem was screwy on that side.
It poured here...we lost power briefly.
Steve was gone all night catching samples.
The meeting went well...we had 32 ladies. There were several people who weren't there but had already paid their dues...so we have about 40 members.
Amazing.
I can't do the egroup purge until I hear from the leader...she had some memberships she still hasn't given to the roster person. Once I get a final list of actual members, I'll purge.
That's terrific 2J. Sounds like it will be a good group since they had a choice and decided to stay on with your group.
Mmm...smoothie.
I think the blender and I have worked out our differences.
Excellent! Sounds like things went well, then!
