New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, |
Bless her heart!
I wish I had a recipe!
The lady that was making them said her son was opening a pie shop in Broken Arrow...so if you're ever in my neck of the woods, we'll go get some!
Fried pies? That sounds sorta weird.
Well, you offered, and apparently lots of other people did too!
She's a lucky dog!
They just said on the news that over a thousand volunteers showed up and had to be turned away.
< snicker >
Hey there...way to be, just trying to show up. I'm one of those that believes the Lord rewards our efforts, our intentions, even if we don't think we succeeded.
I agree! And it didn't go un-noticed...we made the news on every channel...it's saying something when volunteers are called for and volunteers came out in droves!
Watch for freepmail
I finished reading Anne of Green Gables to the jedis Sunday night.

Heh, hadn't you ever read it before? How'd the jedis like it?
If you gave her a dwarf response, would she slap yer face off?
Oh dear...
They loved it. Yes, I read it when I was little but I don't recall it making me feel so bad!
Do you restore old phonographs, or whatever the proper term would be?
The guy that hosts the acoustic jam back home collects old records and old players...the ones with the big trumpet on 'em and such. Has a bunch of them in the barn where the jam is held...interesting thingamajiggers.
I really liked Matthew...he was such a sweet, gentle character.
*snif*
