We, as Republicans, do not believe we can prevent the speech of others, no matter how stupid and vile. That doesn't mean it is, or ever has been endorsed by the party, either officially or unofficially.

We just make sure that we behave well personally and give the other guy a wide berth. We argue vigorously among ourselves and aren't afraid of ideas.

See, that is what separates us from the other side. Our leaders don't control us or try to tell us what to do.

So, two questions: First, who is spreading bile under the guise of conservatism and second, are you SURE you are a part of the we?
