Hollywood,California (AHN)-The series finale for the hit HBO series "Six Feet Under" airs Sunday night in an emotional climax that is destined to go down as a television classic.
With the Fisher family in turmoil after the passing of character "Nate" in the previous 2-episodes, the series' final episode left no stone unturned.
The episode showed the family going in seperate yet emotionally closer directions, giving viewers in the closing moments of the show a telescopic view into how each character lived their lives and wound up in death in a cinematic and sometimes humorous yet tearful view of how it all ended for the cast. The scenes were played out to the haunting music of Sia and her song "Breathe Me".
The funeral home remains intact as subtle messages of the importance of family and love are put on display to make the circle of life complete.
"Six Feet Under" wraps up after 5 successful seasons on HBO with numerous Emmy awards and nominations.
So why are you here cluttering up a thread where people who do are discussing the end of a program they liked.
You just like to drive by and offer negative comments? My word, get a life.
Take a hike with your theories. You may see watching a tv program as support of liberals in the media and I am telling you that the world doesn't see every occasion thru your personal prism.
So if it is obvious we watch this show, you don't watch it, could you perhaps leave us in peace to discuss our hobby.
Unless of course you think that we need your "enlightenment"
Keep supporting the liberals.
Keep living in your simple world where all things are black or white and everything is political.
I must have missed it because I was watching something really worth watching. On the History Channel, Modern Marvels: BRICK.
Oh man BRICK! They had the history and evolution of BRICK, a BRICK museum, how BRICK is made, and even a school for laying......BRICK.
Did you know that volcanic ash mixed with the mortar allows it to set underwater?
By the way the song at the end during the montage was by the artist Sia and the song is called Breathe Me.
Just awesome.
I don't either .. but some of their creations are pretty good and you can watch them via Net Flix or Blockbuster, which is how I subscribe. Currently between years 2 & 3 of Alias! lots of spy action, unbelievable writing (father, daughter, mother all spy family, etc.) and entertaining .. I also will get caught up on Smallville the same way. Only two HBO specials that I have enjoyed this way are 6 Feet Under and Curb your Enthusiasm.
They sell all of their products and it ends up on free channels. You don't have to give to the liberal cause.
That should be "I don't have HBO."
She is gorgeous.
Carnivale is cancelled!?!?!?!?
Then again, I have a weakness for red-headed women. ;-)
I watched the show faithfully in the beginning and drifted away from it when it became unfocused, then I watched the last several episodes up to the end. I would say I found the Clare (or rather the actress) cute, but her character was odious and repulsive. Between the drug use and the bed-hopping and her over-the-top psychotic rants against Republicans that only a Stalinist college prof could love, it was very hard to sympathize with her in the least (and it extended to all the characters). I thought her "death" was unintentionally humorous. It's doubtful that someone with her lifestyle and rabid inner hatred would live to be 102 (well, that is unless that masochistic (masochistic for wanting to be with her !) Republican lawyer converted her away from the dark side - quite a tall order). But then, as they say, it's just a tv show.
Yeah. Take your one-dimensional views elsewhere. Just because you see watching a TV program as supportin the liberal media, it doesn't mean that we all do. It's not like we're sending the liberal media $9.95 a month or anything.
I saw one. Two homos were driving around in a van smoking crack, and then smoking each other, if you know what I mean. First and last episode for me.
No more carnivale?
Yup, it apparently is cancelled according to IMDb. Unfortunately, it had a very unsatisfying ending that answered no questions (hopefully they will film some sort of finale, but it's probably doubtful).
It ended! That's all I want to know about this POS.
