Exactly, that's how are converstion went. I told my wife, well, just because your a Christian it doesn't mean you stop sinning, you're aware of it, you may and should try, but it's war against the flesh, a hard battle. Thanx man !

As once I relayed to a group of youths cursing at the local convenience store,

"It takes time for one to acquire sufficient cognitive language skills in order to overcome temptations of employing foul language which has replaced one's broader vocabulary."

IOW, anyone can curse. It takes a more learned person to choose a more effective alternate means of communication.

Ok, I admit I've never seen this show, but after reading all the comments, I think I get the main idea. A lot of people, when they are trying to get through to other people, will talk the same way as the other person. It seems to get the other person to open up and be more receptive to the message you are trying to convey. I do this when talking to my teenage daughters, and their friends, and it's amazing how much I can get them to open up to me. I am a strict mom in many senses, and will tell my daughters friends what I'm thinking just as easily as I tell my own girls...yet my 13 year old just informed me that I was voted "coolest mom". I believe it's because I relate to them on their level.
