As once I relayed to a group of youths cursing at the local convenience store,
"It takes time for one to acquire sufficient cognitive language skills in order to overcome temptations of employing foul language which has replaced one's broader vocabulary."
IOW, anyone can curse. It takes a more learned person to choose a more effective alternate means of communication.
It is my studied observation that the english language has such a derth of apropriate adjectives that I am obliged, nay, compelled to use any and all such words available to adequately and accurately proffer the correct message.
