The Best Looking Women in TV Show History (vanity)
PA Times | 2005 | Dr. Pissant

Posted on 08/15/2005 9:05:44 AM PDT by pissant

Though I rarely watch Television these days, I thought I'd be a good sport and watch a few minutes of what my wife was tuned into the other night. It was a Sex in the City re-run. After fifteen minutes of that, I had enough. First of all, the "jokes" were very unfunny. But secondly, for a show with such a title, the women on it were anything but sexy.

On top of that, the other "hot woman" show, Desperate Housewives, leaves alot to be desired in that category as well.

So it has become time to review our TV history and list the woman who actually were sexy in their heyday!

The Top 7 Sexiest Woman of Televsion

7. Laura Petrie (Dick Van Dyke Show): She dressed in tight capri pants, had perfect hair, and was cute as a bug!

6. Jeannie (I Dream of Jeannie): That costume alone made for many a pleasant dreams. But that silky blonde hair and sexy eyes put her into the top 7!!

5. Colleen McMurphy (China Beach): Dana Delaney could warm up my tent any time. Innocent looking, with a wild streak. Lovely bobbed hair and a perfect smile!

4. Angie Dickinson (Policewoman): Yeah, I know, the show wasn't very good. But as a boy I could not turn the channel anytime Angie was on the screen!

3. 99 (Get Smart): The 2nd best female secret agent in TV history. Barbara Feldon still looks good to this day! My 1st true love!

2. Samantha Stevens (Be-witched): Though I do like Nicole Kidman, she cannot touch the wholesome sexiness of Elizabeth Montgomery, IMO. I also wished she would twitch her nose and replace Darrin with ME!!

1. Emma Peel (The Avengers): Diana Rigg made the show. The first TV Dominatrix. I'm tempted to buy the boxed DVD set of all the episodes!

She kind of reminds me of another lovely redhead.

Of course Maureen O'Hara was more of a movie actress rather than a tv personality. She and John Wayne were always great together.

"Betty Rubble was pretty hot but she's no Judy Jetson."

I'm glad you kept to animated characters instead of say Rosie vs Star Jones.

"Mrs. Howell, especially when she ate the radioactive sugar beets! :o)"

My favorite episode when I was a kid, watching it now is just painful.

This is disturbing... "From 1987 through 1995 she was married to actor James Brolin. Now retired from show business, Jan currently lives in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada."

I was planning on posting about Billie Jo, Bobbie Jo, and Betty Jo. And don't forget Dr. Janet Craig (June Lockhart), who was also a pretty hot mom on Lassie and Lost in Space. I remember she got in a bit of trouble for shacking up with a much younger guy.

And one of Petticoat Junction's related shows, Green Acres, had Lisa Douglas (Eva Gabor) traipsing around in her nightgown. Loved her hot cakes!
