Though I rarely watch Television these days, I thought I'd be a good sport and watch a few minutes of what my wife was tuned into the other night. It was a Sex in the City re-run. After fifteen minutes of that, I had enough. First of all, the "jokes" were very unfunny. But secondly, for a show with such a title, the women on it were anything but sexy.
On top of that, the other "hot woman" show, Desperate Housewives, leaves alot to be desired in that category as well.
So it has become time to review our TV history and list the woman who actually were sexy in their heyday!
The Top 7 Sexiest Woman of Televsion
7. Laura Petrie (Dick Van Dyke Show): She dressed in tight capri pants, had perfect hair, and was cute as a bug!
6. Jeannie (I Dream of Jeannie): That costume alone made for many a pleasant dreams. But that silky blonde hair and sexy eyes put her into the top 7!!
5. Colleen McMurphy (China Beach): Dana Delaney could warm up my tent any time. Innocent looking, with a wild streak. Lovely bobbed hair and a perfect smile!
4. Angie Dickinson (Policewoman): Yeah, I know, the show wasn't very good. But as a boy I could not turn the channel anytime Angie was on the screen!
3. 99 (Get Smart): The 2nd best female secret agent in TV history. Barbara Feldon still looks good to this day! My 1st true love!
2. Samantha Stevens (Be-witched): Though I do like Nicole Kidman, she cannot touch the wholesome sexiness of Elizabeth Montgomery, IMO. I also wished she would twitch her nose and replace Darrin with ME!!
1. Emma Peel (The Avengers): Diana Rigg made the show. The first TV Dominatrix. I'm tempted to buy the boxed DVD set of all the episodes!
Yeah, I noticed. I did notice that most of your list comes from shows that were way before my time.
And I'm only 41. LOL
I'll have to take your word for it! ;o)
OOOOOOOO Dana is right!!
Very nice pics. Kudos!
Feel free. LOL
Many women will strike you for a price. Leather is extra.
Thank you!
A very appropriate name, mind you! LOL
They're real...just not natural.
Probably relieved you were growing up straight!
I'll nominate the three young ladies from "Petticoat Junction" as well as Jane Seymour from "Somewhere in Time" in which she starred in with Christopher Reeve. I also liked Glenn Close in "Sarah, Plain and Tall." Now the "Hallmark Channel Wing" of the Party has chimed in here, I'll add that when "Little House on the Prarie" was on when I was a kid, I did have a crush on Melissa Sue Anderson who played Mary Ingalls. B-) I'll bring in a sleeper too, I always liked Maggie Ruffman who played Olivia King in the Canadian TV series, "Avonlea."
LOL. I should be more concise!
Good taste, overall. But the sleeper is completely unknown, I'm thinking! LOL
Argh! What show was this? I loved the Mexican guy, but I can't remember the show!
Janine Turner
Callisto from Xena - on the right
Well, one for four ain't bad. Janine Turner works for me! Plus, she's a conservative, I believe!
A really cool secret agent that had an even cooler ocelot for a pet!
