The Best Looking Women in TV Show History (vanity)
PA Times | 2005 | Dr. Pissant

Posted on 08/15/2005 9:05:44 AM PDT by pissant

Though I rarely watch Television these days, I thought I'd be a good sport and watch a few minutes of what my wife was tuned into the other night. It was a Sex in the City re-run. After fifteen minutes of that, I had enough. First of all, the "jokes" were very unfunny. But secondly, for a show with such a title, the women on it were anything but sexy.

On top of that, the other "hot woman" show, Desperate Housewives, leaves alot to be desired in that category as well.

So it has become time to review our TV history and list the woman who actually were sexy in their heyday!

The Top 7 Sexiest Woman of Televsion

7. Laura Petrie (Dick Van Dyke Show): She dressed in tight capri pants, had perfect hair, and was cute as a bug!

6. Jeannie (I Dream of Jeannie): That costume alone made for many a pleasant dreams. But that silky blonde hair and sexy eyes put her into the top 7!!

5. Colleen McMurphy (China Beach): Dana Delaney could warm up my tent any time. Innocent looking, with a wild streak. Lovely bobbed hair and a perfect smile!

4. Angie Dickinson (Policewoman): Yeah, I know, the show wasn't very good. But as a boy I could not turn the channel anytime Angie was on the screen!

3. 99 (Get Smart): The 2nd best female secret agent in TV history. Barbara Feldon still looks good to this day! My 1st true love!

2. Samantha Stevens (Be-witched): Though I do like Nicole Kidman, she cannot touch the wholesome sexiness of Elizabeth Montgomery, IMO. I also wished she would twitch her nose and replace Darrin with ME!!

1. Emma Peel (The Avengers): Diana Rigg made the show. The first TV Dominatrix. I'm tempted to buy the boxed DVD set of all the episodes!

Remember the episode where Maude gets an abortion? I for one found it amazing that anyone would want to knock up Bea Arthur.

Norman Lear hit paydirt when he took "To Death to us Part" and remade it as "All in the Family." "Maude" shows what happened when he actually had an original idea. The show was a total disaster that looked dated once Dick resigned.

I don't care what anybody says.

If Donna Reed is not #1, she is at least among the top 5!

That's my story, and my mind's made up.

Correction, it was a Jerry stille Friars Club roast and the quote was by Jeffrey Ross:

He used the same line in the new roast of Pam Anderson.

And "she" bears no resemblance to soft little Eva. To tall, hard-faced Jessica Biel, on the other hand, the resemblance is striking... ;)

Speaking of Pam, since she's on Stacked now, she qualifies for the list IMO.

I almost put her in the top 5. Unfortunately, 99 bumped her out! ;o)

Phyllis Davis was a well-built blonde whom I noticed as a testosterone-raging thirty-odd year old person, who appeared in guest roles on a number of shows in the late 70's and early 80's. She used to date Tom Sellick before either of them were well-known: Sellick had her on the last few episodes of Magnum some years after they dated. He still had a soft spot for her, I saw him get mad at Letterman once when Letterman made a less-than-gentlemanly comment about her.

You know I'm in Vancouver. As Johhny Cochrane or Jesse Jackson would say:

When you annex B.C.
You also get me.
