Though I rarely watch Television these days, I thought I'd be a good sport and watch a few minutes of what my wife was tuned into the other night. It was a Sex in the City re-run. After fifteen minutes of that, I had enough. First of all, the "jokes" were very unfunny. But secondly, for a show with such a title, the women on it were anything but sexy.
On top of that, the other "hot woman" show, Desperate Housewives, leaves alot to be desired in that category as well.
So it has become time to review our TV history and list the woman who actually were sexy in their heyday!
The Top 7 Sexiest Woman of Televsion
7. Laura Petrie (Dick Van Dyke Show): She dressed in tight capri pants, had perfect hair, and was cute as a bug!
6. Jeannie (I Dream of Jeannie): That costume alone made for many a pleasant dreams. But that silky blonde hair and sexy eyes put her into the top 7!!
5. Colleen McMurphy (China Beach): Dana Delaney could warm up my tent any time. Innocent looking, with a wild streak. Lovely bobbed hair and a perfect smile!
4. Angie Dickinson (Policewoman): Yeah, I know, the show wasn't very good. But as a boy I could not turn the channel anytime Angie was on the screen!
3. 99 (Get Smart): The 2nd best female secret agent in TV history. Barbara Feldon still looks good to this day! My 1st true love!
2. Samantha Stevens (Be-witched): Though I do like Nicole Kidman, she cannot touch the wholesome sexiness of Elizabeth Montgomery, IMO. I also wished she would twitch her nose and replace Darrin with ME!!
1. Emma Peel (The Avengers): Diana Rigg made the show. The first TV Dominatrix. I'm tempted to buy the boxed DVD set of all the episodes!
Okay, I give up. Who is she?
Correction, it was a Jerry stille Friars Club roast and the quote was by Jeffrey Ross:
"Sandra Bernhardt, I wouldn't f*** her with Bea Arthur's D***."
She looks a little like Oprah in that pic. LOL
And you know this how??? LOL
Bite your tongue, heretic!
Actually, I found some better ones, but they aren't entirely work-safe. ;)
She is beautiful.
Please tell me you don't watch soap operas!!
LOL. Unfortunately wifey said no to the Playboy channel!
Anne Francis was also the hot young thing in the 1956 science fiction movie, The Forbidden Planet. The following isn't from the movie, but it appears to have been roughly contemporaneous with it.
I didn't know until right now, but yes. Very nice!
Stefania Federkiewicz was definately the hottest Polish-American to grace the airwaves.
If you ever watch episodes of Maude, you will see that while Adrienne had two bulges up top, Bea had an even bigger bulge below.
I remember Honey Rider (Ursula Andress?) form James Bond. Don't recall this other Honey though!
"If you ever watch episodes of Maude, you will see that while Adrienne had two bulges up top, Bea had an even bigger bulge below."
LMAO!!!
I saw a picture of her in the paper when she sued Aaron Spelling for tossing her off some show for being pregnant before they started filming it. So I made a point of seeing her show. Gawdawful crap, but she's flabbergastingly beautiful on film, much better than in stills. This was when I was in Montreal, so she's probably all wrinkled by now. Pity.
"episodes of Maude"
Hands down the most irritating sitcom of all time.
Say what you will, but Fran Drescher looks-wise is a knockout.
She was "Bea" on Vegas. Not the most flattering shot of her, but she was another one of those older woman types I used to daydream about as a testosterone-raging teen. I couldn't help it, I had to stare at Heather Thomas, Farrah Fawcett and Susan Anton whenever I went to sleep! :)
Okay. Thanks for squaring me away!
