Though I rarely watch Television these days, I thought I'd be a good sport and watch a few minutes of what my wife was tuned into the other night. It was a Sex in the City re-run. After fifteen minutes of that, I had enough. First of all, the "jokes" were very unfunny. But secondly, for a show with such a title, the women on it were anything but sexy.
On top of that, the other "hot woman" show, Desperate Housewives, leaves alot to be desired in that category as well.
So it has become time to review our TV history and list the woman who actually were sexy in their heyday!
The Top 7 Sexiest Woman of Televsion
7. Laura Petrie (Dick Van Dyke Show): She dressed in tight capri pants, had perfect hair, and was cute as a bug!
6. Jeannie (I Dream of Jeannie): That costume alone made for many a pleasant dreams. But that silky blonde hair and sexy eyes put her into the top 7!!
5. Colleen McMurphy (China Beach): Dana Delaney could warm up my tent any time. Innocent looking, with a wild streak. Lovely bobbed hair and a perfect smile!
4. Angie Dickinson (Policewoman): Yeah, I know, the show wasn't very good. But as a boy I could not turn the channel anytime Angie was on the screen!
3. 99 (Get Smart): The 2nd best female secret agent in TV history. Barbara Feldon still looks good to this day! My 1st true love!
2. Samantha Stevens (Be-witched): Though I do like Nicole Kidman, she cannot touch the wholesome sexiness of Elizabeth Montgomery, IMO. I also wished she would twitch her nose and replace Darrin with ME!!
1. Emma Peel (The Avengers): Diana Rigg made the show. The first TV Dominatrix. I'm tempted to buy the boxed DVD set of all the episodes!

This weekend I went to see
Beat the Devil and Gina Lollibrigida. Do you remember the
Lucy episode where she had a Gina Lollobrigida wig and dressed like her to fool Ricky? Well, she really did a good job. I have to say, I couldn't see the big deal about Lollibrigida, to me Jennifer Jones far outshined her. And she was very funny!
Gwendolyn Chelm (Jennifer Jones): Harry, we must beware of these men. They are desperate characters.
Harry Chelm: What makes you say that ?
Gwendolyn Chelm: Not one of them looked at my legs!

Heather Locklear, when she was a police officer on "T. J. Hooker." I would gladly spend some range time with her!

Nice picks, but Angie Dickinson was as they say "no spring chicken" when "Police Woman" was on. Maybe age isn't such a big thing, but Angie's Kennedy-Sinatra associations were certainly a big turn off, especially years after her big moment in the 1960s.
I thought Elizabeth Montgomery was beautiful in "Bewitched" but it was sort of a "most beautiful mom in the neighborhood" sort of thing.
