Survivor - Guatemala: The Official Thread
Various Websites and my fertile brain | August 11, 2005 | Cuz_it_aint_their_money

Hidden deep in the rainforests of Central America, stand the ruins of an ancient civilization that once prospered, and then vanished. These were the Maya people, and this is the country of Guatemala.

These stunning cities of the past stand as clues to a mystery thousands of years old. While Europe was in the dark ages, it was the Maya who harnessed the knowledge of the stars, and the celestial movements, to create a mystical union of man, nature and the gods. It was a world of great kings, elaborate ceremonies, fierce battles, and even human sacrifice.

18 Survivors will be marooned within this mysterious and rugged terrain.

For the first time, the castaways will actually live within the ruins of a vanished civilization, and they will be forced to embrace the ancient Maya lifestyle.

Join us as the adventure continues with:

Danni made an excellent point. I think her words changed StepheME's mind. Big mistake on Steph's part. Her biggest mistake in this game has been her lies. Bobby Jon knew it weeks ago.

Danni dodged a bullet ... whew. Now do Rafe and Dannie get rid of Steph or keep her as a decoy?

Lydia has much to be proud of.

Yes she does. She is one of my top 10 players ever on Survivor.

Lydia was very likable. I believe she will be one of the most important votes on the jury.

Danni and Rafe will realize that each has a better chance to win against StepheME instead of each other. One will sacrifice the other.

"While Lydia's going on and on about the chicken, the jury looks bored."

Tomorrow we will hear about the Myans mad as hornets about Lydia taking the scrificial chicken. She will have to go back and have her head chipped off for spiritual resitution.

Oh, good. the frikken viewing of the sticks with loser's names on them. For 15 frikken minutes. I agree this part of the show is worse than eating a Myan sacrificial chicken.

It's a time-filler more than anything else. Does anybody remember Brooke? She was totally forgettable to me.
