Hidden deep in the rainforests of Central America, stand the ruins of an ancient civilization that once prospered, and then vanished. These were the Maya people, and this is the country of Guatemala.
These stunning cities of the past stand as clues to a mystery thousands of years old. While Europe was in the dark ages, it was the Maya who harnessed the knowledge of the stars, and the celestial movements, to create a mystical union of man, nature and the gods. It was a world of great kings, elaborate ceremonies, fierce battles, and even human sacrifice.
18 Survivors will be marooned within this mysterious and rugged terrain.
For the first time, the castaways will actually live within the ruins of a vanished civilization, and they will be forced to embrace the ancient Maya lifestyle.

What is Jeff really trying to tell us about Brianna? Well, since I've pretty much disproved the ridiculous theory that I'm Jeff, I wouldn't know.
What do you think?

Thanks, Cuz for all your hard work for us Survivor fans.
Nine hours and 2 minutes till the games begin.
Woot! Woot!

Deny, deny, deny. Sigh. He who denies loudest, must truly be. :)

Damn, the premier hasn't even happened and I'm already disapointed that Jim's the bootee pick. I had hoped he'd be there a little longer. Then again, I suppose the reason why he's the bootee is that he develops some physical problem getting to camp and it doesn't get a whole lot better before the imunity challenge.

What was the survivor where the girls got naked a lot, and the one that won was named Jenna.
That was my least favorite survivor. I hated it!!!!
To: Texas2step
I didn't start watching Survivor until almost the end of the first one, so I can't compare it to the other seasons.
Overall, I think S2: Australia was one of my favorites. Then I liked this last one (S10?). I liked watching the one with Rupert, but it got boring after he left.
There's another one I didn't like. A man won it. There was also a black woman who got mad at a black man for accidentally touching her at night. I can't remember the location. It just wasn't a memorable survivor.
To: luckystarmom
That would have been S-6 "The Amazon".
The winner was Jenna Morasca who along with Heidi Strobel stripped naked during the episode 7 Immunity challenge for Peanut Butter and Chocolate.
BTW, Deena Bennett won that immunity challenge and Roger Sexton was booted at Tribal Council that night.

The winner was Brian Heidik, a used car salesman and retired porn star from California.
And Ghandia Johnson accused Ted Rogers Jr. of "grinding" against her while they slept at night. This led to a lot of he said/she said finger pointing and ended up getting Ghandia booted the next time her tribe went to Tribal Council.

Cuz, can you lay off the spoilers of past Survivors a little? You know, for those of us catching up. Or, am I the only one?
To: cuz_it_aint_their_money
Reward Challenge Winner: Nakum
Immunity Challenge Winner: Yaxha
Tribal Council Bootee: Jim
So, do you know this from spoiler sites, or is this your honest prediction?
Based on what I've read so far, I do have Jim as an early boot. Mainly because it sounds like he may be a "know-it-all" and he's 63 and there are lots of young folks who wouldn't like that kind of attitude.
I'll go with Jim, too, as the first boot, and then I'll make predictions about who I think will make the jury, final four, and overall winner after tonight's show, after I have a chance to see how everyone interacts.
Based on the bios of the cast, I believe this may be another good one.
To: cuz_it_aint_their_money
Maybe you could do spoilers in white text and anyone who wants to read the spoiler can highlight to read.
Or, maybe I just missed out because I wasn't hooked years ago? They're not REAL spoilers, I guess, because it is in the past, and not necessarily the recent past, either.

Oh all right!
As they (phonetically) say in Japan (while Kow-Towing deeply):
GO-MEN-A-SIGH!
GO-MEN-A-SIGH!
GO-MEN-A-SIGH!
Now if you'll excuse me, I'll just go stand over here in the corner till I'm given permission to join you all again!
Just kidding Texas2step!

If you notice, I posted this prediction at 8:49:52AM EDT this morning. At least 3 to 4 hours before any of the spoiler sites made any commitments! So yes, this is my honest prediction.

Never doubted ya for a minute. ;-)
To: cuz_it_aint_their_money
Now, I remember the names. I just forgot Survivor low points.
I hope this one is good. I'm not as excited about this one. Too many problems for me to think about Survivor. I'm having school problems with my kids, and then I get carried away with Katrina stuff. Well, I am stressed, and hopefully Survivor will destress me.
To: cuz_it_aint_their_money
I heard earlier today the Dems are going to be televising some garbage before the President speaks tonight, please tell me CBS is not going to boot Survivor. I doubt it, but just need a little confirmation. :)
Been waiting for this for ages it seems.
