Comenzaré quizá a fijar todos mis comentarios en español apenas para confundir a gente. ¿Después de todo, si fijo en español debo tener una agenda? Mr. Carter, it's time to go back to the peanut farm.

Wben our ancestors came to this country, they learned English...they had to, or they wouldn't survive. That's the way it should be now...you want to live in this country, learn the language. Absolutely. Those who want to succeed in life learn English. If they choose to remain in a self-imposed ghetto, that's their problem, not mine. Nevertheless, their kids will likely prefer English. America is like a giant borg. We will assimilate you, just as we have those from Europe, Africa, Asia, etc.

I will say this: I am against providing the tests in other languages. Even more so voting materials. Now that is an issue worth discussing.

Sounds like someone should get Lay's more often.

Gruel that barely qualifies as potatoes, extruded and freeze-dried into a pseudo-potato chip shape... Which is why it's good to have multilingual cans - if you speak Spanish, you'll notice that the listing gives the main ingredient as "polvo presionado de patata", which is much more accurate than the English side.
Also, one overlooked advantage of Pringles is that, if you take a can's worth of chips and put them into a bowl of water overnight, they'll return to a somewhat mashed potato-like consistency, which can then be used to make something more useful, such as an ashtray or paperweight.

I agree - it's just a question of WHICH principle. For me, it's always been the principle of not eating processed industrial slag... ;)

Ok, still a bit over the top.
Remember, we don't don't have an official language. The closest we came was when German was defeated by a very narrow margin near the close of the 18th century. But not having an official language has worked out ok.
The American culture is like the Borg. Any other culture we touch, we absorb the best features of and put our spin on it. Drive down one of the main roads in my town (Springfield, Mo) and you see eateries of all different cultures. Mexican, Greek, Italian, Chinese, and Thai just to name a few. And all Americans know the dishes. From a gyro, to a burrito, to veal Parmigiana. We absorb it all... and then make it American!
Heck, we stole the croissant from the French and turned it into the "croissandwich"!
And our language has foreign elements too. We might celebrate Oktoberfest (German) in El Cajon (Spanish), California (Spanish), or celebrate Cinco de Mayo (Spanish)in Straussburg (German), Illinois (French). Heck, they even have a State Holiday for Casamir Pulaski in Illinois!
The point is that while the PC morons have tried to create a diversity of cultures in America, many have swung too far and forgotten it was the diversity within the common culture that made America great!
Our culture needs to change to keep growing. Cultures that stagnate die a horrible, painful death. Ask the French.

I live in an English speaking country. You must live a very secluded life, my friend.
(they truth is we don't and haven't for a very long time now)

Trust me, eating the chips will not make you Mexican. You'll ~still~ be a citizen in good standing of the United States of America.

Frustrates me too. Pictures are fine, but I'd like a little textual instruction. 'Thought something similar while browsing certain magazines in my teen years...
