The trip was great. We held Vacation Bible Schools for somewhere upwards of 300 children at twelve churches (6 in Texas and 6 in Mexico), plus we did construction projects for 4 churches -- 2 in Texas and 2 in Mexico. Our construction groups finished out a parsonage at one church, built a wheelchair ramp at one church, and did some pretty extensive drywall and painting work at a couple of the sites. It was very exciting to see our kids working so hard and pouring their lives into the lives of the children in these communities.

Excellent. Just excellent. That's what I was thinking about when I posted the WFTD. LOL!

A++++ for you, Jack!

That's the same as we did. Everything is in Ks. The metric system is beyond me.

True, true, he admitted ruefully.

The regional supermarket, neighborhood grocery store, nearest drugstore, and even the corner service station were all out of toilet paper after Johnny Carson made fun of the Jimmy Carter's toilet paper crisis.

Seems there wasn't a Charmal House to be found anywhere.

Cyber told me it's 1.6 kilometers to a mile. Or is it 1.6 miles to a kilometer? No, no. I know a kilometer is less than a mile. It says so on my speedometer. LOL!

Can't be without our Charmin', Cook! I'll give you a grade, but I don't know about it.

A++++ for you!

What happened with the Jimmy Carter TP crisis? I must have missed it.

My only accomplishment was driving the van and giving the kids some direction. It was our kids that accomplished everything (by the grace and in the strength of the LORD). I was very proud of them!

I don't remember the TP crisis. Was that because of his hemmorhoids or because TP was completely unnecessary since Carter would take any amount of $#!+ imaginable off of anybody, anywhere.

1000 meters (meters are slightly shorter than a yard) equal a kilometer. Less than a mile, Miss Slip.

Hence the Militarized "klick" when referring to kilometers.
Which were used to grid all of North and South Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand aerially for Map Grid Coordinates.

Jack.

I just remember Carter in a small boat with the rabbit swimming towards him ready to attack him. That picture will never leave my mind.

BTW, have you had a little time to start reading the second book of Frankenstein? It's really good. That's where I got today's WFTD. I have another one from the book for tomorrow.

Not to be confused with the kickathon I want to do here at work most of the time. Walk day, I'll hang out with my work out friends instead of my work "friends". (Both groups are participating)
