Really dead.
Has everyone gone on Vacation?
Sound Politics now has documentation the King County once again, fudged the facts on military ballot mailing. Well, darn, if that isn't a surprise.
One has to wonder if anything that Dean Logan & the Ron Sims corrupt election machine will do can ever get a rise out of the public. My hope is that the feds will now step in and send some folks to jail as that is about the only way things will get fixed.

Ping! to keep it alive...
Sionnsar,I'm here, and read the threads.this is the vacation
month. I'm busier than a one armed paper hanger right now.
What's the difference? Our fraudulent Governor could come out tonight in Prime time and admit she stole the election on statewide tv. Not one chance in hell she would be removed from office. This is Washington State, the dems rule it and now thanks to the new election (top two) rules, we don't get to choose between Republican and Democrat, we get to choose between two democrats. This states' politics are locked up until Mt. Ranier wipes Seattle off the map. Then maybe the rest of the state can have a say in who is in charge around here.
If all else fails...guess I'll fold the tent and head out to my redoubt in Montana, where the battle against the socialist left is now boiling over...

Since the Feds told them they had to make sure they got the ballots out on time, etc., I sure hope they do step in. Do you think they need to be aware of it, or, do you think they've been keeping tabs on what's been going on?
The Island Co fair is coming up Aug 1th-21st... I'll be working 3 shifts in the GOP info booth. If anyone wants to join in the fun, let me know :-)
Didn't a judge (Zilly?) throw that out?
I am pretty sure I heard just a week or so ago that a judge ruled against this.
Did anyone else hear this?
I see someone else did. :-)
There we have it then.
If I missed that, great, I hope it happened, I have been on vacation all summer and not paid a lot of attn to the news.
Are they appealing?
I saw another (Google) headline that said it's been appealed, but the link was to a TV station's site -- due the excessive usage of graphics that all TV stations seem to love (really horrendous on us dial-up users), I declined to click through.
As a student of politics and in the spirit if Bill Clinton, it all depends on what "aware" is.
If you mean, are the fed's knowledgeable that they were lied to by King County about when ballots were mailed to the military, I think that the answer is yes.
If you mean, do the feds feel that there is enough public "awareness" that the fed's should have known they were lied to and public opinion is that the fed's should do something about it, I think the answer is no.
My feeling is that there are professional federal bureaucrats who realize that some 4-year terms there is a Democratic President and some 4-year terms their organization is lead by an appointee from the Republicans and made by a Republican President. These folks want to not call too much attention to themselves so they have the illusion of hoping to be employed if the next President turns out to be a democrat. As such they will do nothing until the public demands that they do something. Our problem is that the Main Stream Media in this state absolutely doesn't want to raise this issue and has gone out of its way to only report the bare minimum. This has given the fed's lots of cover to do nothing. When there were Re-Vote Rallies in Olympia, the feds used the excuse that the state courts were handling things.
At a minimum, someone should see about criminal perjury cases being filed against some public officials who testified before Judge Bridges.
Personally, a month or so ago, I went out on a limb and pushed to have the Alderwood Manor Nursing Home investigated by the Lynnwood Police and the Snohomish County Prosecutors office for the mysterious ballots of mentally incompetent people who voted absentee ballot from that place. That investigation is going very very slowly and quietly.
Unless some newspapers take up the call for change or someone else mobilizes the public, I don't see anyone coming in to fix things.
This might be the only way a Democrat could be defeated in some districts, like McDermott's ultra liberal district.
Thank you for your thoughtful reply. I understand what you're saying about the Feds (and the MSM here), and based on some of the things that happened after the last election in this state, I don't think we can count on the Fed Attny in Seattle to do much of anything. I guess I'm hoping for another angle - the Dept of Defense asking the DOJ to look into it, or, since a Pubbie is in charge of the DOJ, him asking some of his folks to look into it. That said, I suspect this type of thing doesn't go to the top of the ladder very often as it's expected to be handled at lower leverls, unless, as you mentioned, a lot of citizens start demanding something be done.
