The installations were pure heck...
I ended up missing three days of work because I was jerked around over and over by the power company. And the phone company....and the AC guy.
And my fridge is heating instead of cooling.
Otherwise, I'm just peachy!

Yep... I'm downtown. The smoke was blowing right over us but was pretty dispursed by the time it got here. I couldn't see the flames, but LOTS of smoke.

Have one for me! But how is cocktail hour in Baghdad???? Booze is legal in Iraq. In most Middle Eastern countries, actually. (Some of 'em like Iran, Saudi and Kuwait are exceptions...)
And we have plenty of it on our compound. Liquor stores abound in the dowtown area!
